I've been burned too many times by Harvest Moon since the split, so I'm waiting to see some gameplay and reviews after it comes out. Probably the same for Story of Seasons since they've been stumbling a lot lately, too outside their remakes.

I like how the horses slide across the ground sideways.

You can see the season on the left side of the date. The scenes where the farmer walks in the desert, snow and fall areas looks to happening during Winter.

It's crazy to go from One World to this, it's a nice improvement. I'll definitely consider giving this one a shot, I thought there was a lot in One World that had potential as well so I want to see for myself how much they improved on everything. I still don't trust it like you said but if the visuals are this much better than I can only hope that they improved a lot of other things as well. Fingers crossed!

I was hoping you would talk about this! I think it's a huge step up from One world personally. It still has a bit of that cheap feel to it, I don't know if it's the character models or what but other than that I really like how it's turning out so far as well. Can't believe I'm actually interested in a Harvest Moon game again after all this time

Well it doesn't look terrible for once (that's a plus), I'm cautiously optimistic tbh. It's great that they're actually trying this time, I hope the game can fulfill expectations and reach the potential that One World didn't. Idk if I'll be skipping this or not yet...maybe I'll just wait for reviews or more gameplay (never considered buying a Natsume harvest moon title until now) its impressive they actually caught my attention with this, the bachelors & bachelorettes look great too! Lina is my fav so far! Hopefully there will be more characters as you mentioned (extra marriage candidates are always a plus for me).🤞🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️

I did not play one world but I've seen reviews and game play. This looks like they are TRYING and taking feed back so I am going to give it a try.

I'm gonna wait for reviews but I'm definitely intrigued! I like the improvements I am seeing so far!

I'll happily check out reciews and content first. I really do hope it's good but if not it's alright because I'm loving the Wonderful life remake so much

If there was anything I liked less than the seed pick ups, it was the randomness of the crop mutations in One World. Made the platinum trophy a pain to get.

Wow, this actually looks super cute! World still looks a little empty but I do think it looks clean. I hope the gameplay is actually really good too, I'll keep an eye on it. I've never played any of these Harvest Moon games. I still kinda wished they made a new game thats a more polished version of the 3DS games with the Minecraft sandbox sort of aspect. I do like that Natsume is trying a bit to develop different farming ideas.

I never played any of the games made by Natsune, but this game makes feel very excited 😊! I just hope there is good amount of daily dialogues as well as customization. For me, the most important part of a Farming games is the story behind it.❤

It won't be a day one purchase for me, but I am very excited for this! Personally, I think it looks great!

With how many games Natsume has released so far ever since the split, the newest game should be way better than this or up to par with the latest Story of Seasons. They're still playing catch up.

We're either getting a decent farming sim or Harvest Moon: Gollum.

I know they got fae farm comming out in September also sunny side game if they want to keep up they need to do better I think they are trying I'm still going to get this I love harvest moon games

going from "poorly executed knockoff" to "indie game with a vision" is a big upgrade, though an actual company like Natsume aught to be able to achieve at least that, even if they ARE a pretty small company compared to Marvelous. Even for a localiser-turned-developer.

There's an improvement, but I don't know about everything else. We'll have to wait and see.

I haven't bought any of the Natsume Harvest Moon games but this one looks like it might be ok. I'll wait for reviews since I don't have THAT much faith in them. I also expect some BS DLC.

I think the bar is pretty low here since we don't have a lot of *great* modern farm sims and we especially haven't had a decent Harvest Moon in a minute,

I'm amazed at how good the game looks compared to its predecessor! Although I've been wary of harvest moon games for a long time. If I hear just a little bit of positivity about it after it comes out, I'd be willing to give it a try, but with other farming sims that scratch the itch I don't want to disappoint myself :(

Gotta give it to Natsume, they keep trying and actually improve quite a bit each game. Story of Seasons is the true old HM series but... honestly Marvelous doesn't do much that the series deserves and just keep making these less than stellar games and just the simple remakes. I was hoping they'd make a full blown 3D well budgeted game some day... unfortunately they still haven't done anything. A wonderful life remake is nice though. I'll keep an eye on Natsume. Wind of Anthos looks quite good, I'll wait for reviews however.

Is it just me or does it look somewhat like Pokemon Sword and Shield when the camera is zoomed in closer to the character lol I'm pretty happy with the amount of effort they seem to be putting in this game. My only issue is that I'm not really feeling some of the character designs.

I'd be more willing to give it a try if they would stop calling it Harvest Moon. Because it's not Harvest Moon and they know it.

I see that we can customize the MC's hair and skin color, but it seems eye/face shape, eye color, and different outfits will not be a part of the game. I dislike this. Like I get that we are role playing as this character, but I don't enjoy that I cannot make that character like me.

No mention about the terrible animal movement? Look at the horse movement during the race and the bear turning when you sneak up on it. Dumb sliding movement. I think this game actually looks pretty decent. That movement needs work though. That said, Natsume doesn’t have a good track record, so I’m not interested. Even if it did turn out good, I have a few other farming sims in my backlog. Also, I’d like to mention this visually looks pretty similar to Pokémon S/V. That says a lot more about Pokémon than it does about this game.

I'm still kinda meh on the graphics. If they managed to get that charm that some older games had that would be nice or if it looked as good as Potionomics does

The *real* Bokujo games set a new standard with same sex marriage, and it was a shame One World didn't have it. If this game doesn't have it either, they'll just be ostracizing a good chunk of their target audience. I don't have my hopes up but we will see.

The only thing I could give One World were the bachelor/ettes but even with that they refused to allow same sex marriage :/ The gaming elements implementation is really the thing that turned me off and the fact that that's coming back is worrisome. I'll still watch someone play it first before passing judgement tho

Idk... I think they left out a lot to be desired in these trailers. The characters look really floaty and just skate across the ground, especially the horses. The animals push each other around weirdly as they walk, the animations I can tell already look really rushed and lackluster. Plus its just just screams "Sorry about One World! here's a redo of the game basically." I really don't like the mechanics of One World and I already know I won't like it here. The market is just SO saturated with farm sims these days, its easy to pick and choose what exactly I want to play and pour my time and money into. Its sad to say, but Harvest Moon is now a bottom tier farming sim title... They are still just resting on their laurels of days long gone and until they get their head out of their sand, I certainly won't be buying anything from them anytime soon.

The cows in 'A wonderful life' were better, and cuter. Why did this cow design take over in future games. lame
