Harvey ALPHA HW110LC-36 Table Saw | Assembly (ASMR)

2 жыл бұрынI've been wanting/needing to upgrade my old contractor table saw to a cabinet saw. Harvey reached out and we settled on the ALPHA HW110LC-36. It's a 10" 2HP cabinet table saw with TiN coated table. I'm absolutely loving how easy it was to assemble and really looking forward to getting to use it with some upcoming projects. I'll hold off on any reviews until I get a chance to put her through the paces of some projects, but I'll for sure do a 6 month update and let you know what I think. Thanks again to Harvey for the incredible saw!

I have this same saw but without the TiN coating.. I love it for the most part! The two main things to gripe about is the sharpness of the top corner on the fence.. If I catch it as I am running a board through, it hurts quite a bit.. I'll need to soften the edge with a sander when I get around to it.. Other thing is the screw that holds the indicator for seeing your measurement tends to come loose with the vibration of the saw running.. its a minor thing with an easy fix that I haven't made time to do yet lol.. Hope you enjoy the saw!

Well, you have had this saw for a while. How is it at ripping 5/4 and 8/4 lumber. or 2X4's Perhaps treated 2X4, Does it bog down a little.

Although, when you took the insert out to fit the blade, I thought you’d pop it on a nice, super soft cotton cloth… not directly on your pristine gold top 😉 Now all we need, is more videos from you making some kick ass stuff though. That saw is on my wish list! How’s it holding up? Any negatives that you’ve seen or is it a saw you recommend?

It’s been awesome! The only negative I’ve had is the throat plate is held in with a screw which makes me super lazy about changing/cleaning the blade

You have the 2HP? Is it wired for 110 or 220?

I do have the 2HP and it came wired for 110 but I easily rewired it for 220.

Since there were no words spoken here's a few to add....."Usually I'd use some wd-40 or paste wax for the table saw surface, but in light of recent events I used Odie's Oil!" :)

I have the same saw. I think I got one of the first ones available. It was delivered in August of 2020, and I've actually had a few issues with it. I'm curious to know your thoughts on this saw.

The Harvey mobile base. It’s basically the same as the Bora PM-1100.
