I worked at a huge hospice type hospital one summer at 16. The job title was"transport assistant" which meant that it was me that "transported" all the dead people down to the morgue....for 40 hours a week. Anyone able to beat that? Sweet 16!

My worst summer job had me commute forty miles to work at five in the morning to pick up garbage in the hot desert sun. If I forgot sunscreen I was burned to a crisp. I had to supply and carry my own water which would get hot after eight hours. Like drinking the water around noon could be painful until I wised up and got a large two gallon cooler. I walked an easy five miles a day while lugging fifty pounds of garbage while watching people throw more garbage out their windows. On some days I would be picking this garbage out of manure piles that were hopefully dry and hot. And on three separate occasions my supervisor forgot to pick me up at one. This in a place without cell service and where the nearest water was probably for miles away by now and my car was probably farther. Two weeks before summer ended officially, I was told that I was laid off. It was like a prison sentence was lifted. All this for $8 an hour.

This was the funniest hashtag segment in a long time. I couldn't breathe during the drunk girl impersonation or after the John Deere ghost joke.

I worked at a summer camp. One week, it was a combined high school/JR high camp. There had to be at least a thousand people on campus that week. One day, I went around to clean the bathrooms. After knocking on the door of the junior high boy's restroom, I entered and went to work. I got to the first stall and looked in the toilet to see it clogged. With garbage. There was no way I could simply plunge it away... I had to go find latex gloves and grab an extra trash bag. I had to dig my hand in to pull the garbage out. The worst part? Someone had urinated in the toilet on top of the garbage.
