Lol, that's so true, but because I always have nitrile gloves on hand, I hadn't thought about that 😂 honestly, though, they're very handy. There's lots of nasty or messy jobs where it's nice to have them around as an option.

His interviews are always really entertaining. But anyone else notice the tasteful details in his suit? The specific color choices, the wasp detail, the red lining under the cuffs-and his suits in his stand ups are also always impeccable. As are his visuals accompanying his specials. Taste all around!

My daughter walked me around her Iowa campus one summer visit, just spouting nonstop john mulaney taglines and bits , with me following her doubled over and laughing / crying like an IDIOT! Few comedians seem to realise that one of their vital gifts needs to be LOVABLENESS. I can sit through all kinds of our (British) comedians and I don't even smile. a) their material isn't very good and b) they are not even nice people, let alone lovable. In John Mulaney's case (only recently discovered by me) I find myself laughing the moment he appears. Bear in mind that a number of US references I don't even GET. Why is this? All kinds of reasons, but a main one is that he is so charming and downright lovable. His material is beautifully crafted and prepared and the way he delivers it is full of surprises that force you to THINK. We like being required to ponder what he just said.....

seth is a great interviewer... he lets guests tell their stories without interrupting them, and you can tell he’s genuinely engaged with the anecdotes by the way he laughs, how he doesn’t overdo it like other hosts.
