hey folks, caught a little break in the rain today although it's getting colder outside. thought we would bring the Hatfield SAS 12 gauge Semi automatic shotgun out for its first round. I didn't bring out large selection of ammunition but enough I think we can get a feel for what it's going to do. I appreciate everybody watching taking the time to leave comments, and thumbs up. and if you're not a subscriber please feel free to subscribe.

Picked up 2 of these in 12 gauge last year . For the price you can't go wrong .... a little break in and a little polish , and it's a pretty slick shotgun .... just give'em a good cleaning right out of the box before you fire any loads through it ,,, helps a lot ! Only time will tell how well it'll hold up , but if you take care if it, as with anything , it should last a lifetime ..... I also picked up 2 of their single shot 12's ....just for fun 😉 ....

Hi, As far as those Turkey loads...All I'll say is "Better you than me"! Boy, those things do kick! I did notice one thing you might want to look at. The little tabs on the back end of the foreend should be tucked into the receiver. I had to squeeze on the bottom of the foreend before they would go in on mine. Still have to go out and put some rounds thru mine. I got a 20 gauge that worked fine, a .410 that was a dud and now this 12 gauge. Hoping it works and maybe yours will have to break in and smooth out the rough spots before it passes muster. Thanks for posting this and may your channel be a success!

It'll probably loosen up like you said and end up good to go. I would say storing it with the bolt open for a day or so might speed it up but usually that just helps if it doesn't wanna feed the lighter loads. Unusual to have the opposite for sure. I was in Dunham's today and they had three and a half inch 1425fps turkey loads...I ran as fast as I could!😂
@HamiltonOutdoors

Yeah for this gun specifically I really don't care if it doesn't shoot the high-powered stuff. As I mostly use number six game loads for squirrel, and usually seven and a half shot for dove. And I do think it will break in quite well. I may take my Dremel and some Polish and polish the bolt face as well.

I have a hatsan 12g here in the UK semi auto shoots everything but doesn't like anything lower than 28gram but she'll size from 2 inch through to 31/2 inch pretty amazing, shot pigeons with it and waterfowl, wish I could use it for deer but we are not allowed to use shotguns for deer here only centrefire rifles so can't buy slugs for it as our laws for firearms is draconian we have have licences for our guns either a firearms certificate for sporting rifles or a shotgun certificate for shotguns, so will need a firearms certificate to purchase slugs
