Many claim to have been changed by an encounter with with the risen and living Lord Jesus Christ, and yet remain the same. Have you been really changed?

Malachi 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

So where does the Bible say every Christian is born from an encounter with God? Few men experienced this. Jesus said 'blessed are those who don't see and yet believe'.

Everywhere in the NT. A great place to start is John 3:3, 5, 7. “Unless one of born again (from above), he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.” We aren’t born again by looking at God, but by God making us alive and giving us eyes to see Jesus and trust Him.

Belief on Jesus Christ is all that is needed for eternal salvation. There is no encounter. There is hearing and believibg the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. The moment you believe you hath eternal life. Christ's righteousness is imparted to the believer, and the Holy Spirit dwells within us. That makes us born again, this time of spirit. Calvanists teach an accursed doctrine and gospel. Simple faith is all that is needed. The scriptures have told us that in plain English over 400 years ago when the KJV was translated. This is tge gospel preached by Paul and the Apostles. Do not be deceived by confusing accursed doctrines.

@@vickyannpaintingwithoils hearing and believing IS IN FACT the encounter. You meet with God in His word as you read, study and listen to sound preaching. You get to know God more and you get changed from the inside out.

The change is in your new relationship to SIN. You may still sin like crazy, BUT you hate it every time it happens. If you feel dirty, cry about your sin, and promise endlessly it will not happen ever again, but yet again you find yourself sinning you are a changed person. New relationship to sin.

That conclusion doesn’t come from this video, but that all who experience the redemptive grace of God in Christ will be radically changed does.

No they are not all changed, Paul wrote to the carnal church at Corinth. They were all brethren and hath eternal life. Many other examples, Lot, woman at the well, ggeif on the cross, Noah, etc. etc. Men don't have any works better than a filthy rag. You don't have tobprove your salvation to a few calvanist sinners. Only God can read the hearts and minds of men. Pharisees displayed the most form of Godliness all tge way to the gates of hell. Christ's atonement was perfect. Just believe.

I found this a strange idea. Surely we all encounter God all the time? “In him we live and move and have our being” In my opinion the idea that Christians are changed more than others is questionable. Most of my non-believing friends are at least as kind as my believing friends. The reason? The Holy Spirit is at least as active among non-church goers.

To be regenerated by the Spirit is to become a new creation. Only believers become a new creation. Apart from Christ, unbelievers aren’t spiritually changed at all. Yes, God sustains all of creation including all men, but not all men in a saving and redemptive way.

Paul is a Calvinist and the teaching of Calvin makes all what he has said to nothing. If God only chooses who goes to Heaven and who goes to hell as Calvinist teach which is heresy, so where is his joy and peace in the Holy Spirit so absent in his preaching is it because he is not sure if he is one of the saved elect as Calvin refers to the chosen of God?

False Calvanist teaching. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and hath eternal life. Nothing added, and nothing taken away.

@@LandonKozeny John MacArthur, Paul Washer, Voddie Baucham, RC Sproul, John Calvin, Spurgeon, The Gospel Coalition, Justin Peters, all Calvanists. TULIP is a false man made doctrine. If you truly do not know what Calvanists are you should find out before you follow them or believe anything they say. They preach works prove salvation. That is a lie. The book of Galatians speaks clearly of them creeping in unnoticed and perverting the true Gospel. We are saved by Grace alone by Faith alone in Jesus Christ. “And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.” - Acts 15: 8-11.
