That is a new noise to me.. Somthing grinding on somthing metal cog of some discription i dont know? Starter related maybe. Poor baby.

Sound like the starter pinion is still in mess with the ring gear. Also similar noises can be from ... water pump baring.... belt tensioner baring .... similar noiser can also be from the front Altinator Baring , as well as the air con idler baring. You must realise that 5 seconds of video or not being there to check where the noise is coming from is a bit hard to be accurate. Have fun . Will look forward to see when the noise is pinpointed

Means you need to drive it round as if it's got nothing wrong with it untill you break the engine, then just simply replace the engine 👍

Yorkshire engine I need help, car in Russia, city of St. Petersburg. Nissan Navara D40, 2008, 174 horsepower. Production in Spain. I can't solve the problem for 6 years. When accelerating from a standstill or from a speed, it does not matter. At a speed of 120-140, there is a loss of traction. The engine goes into emergency mode. It does not react to the gas pedal, it idles normally. I turn off the engine, start it again and that's it, you can go again. I searched for a long time for the reasons, and came to the conclusion that the fault was in the vacuum control of the turbine. I found the reason in the vacuum control valve, it worked poorly. I connected 12 volts to it at home, clicks, and put it back on. The rod on the turbine actuator does not go, as the vacuum has disappeared. He removed the hose from the vacuum booster of the tormases and put it back on. Engine operation has changed. I went to check, I did not know such a pimple yet, but everything was super 2 days. The valve stopped working, its electrical part was replaced with a new one. Now everything is still the same, I can't overclock more than 120-140,goes into emergency mode. The error is not lit, it remains in the memory of P1273. With such a system of about 10 cars, the services change the injectors, turbines, but it's not about them and the problem remains. I will be grateful for the help, maybe faced with this.

I have always used error reset in this way to erase errors. 1. Turn on the ignition, wait for 3 seconds. 2. For 5 seconds. press the gas 5 times, release the gas. 3. Wait for 7 seconds, for 8-9 seconds. press on the gas and hold (about 10 seconds) until the error lamp starts blinking. 4. When blinking, release the gas and count the errors . 5. After blinking all the errors, you must fully press the gas pedal and hold it for 10 seconds. b. Turn off the ignition, release the gas. 7. Check if the errors have been reset. To do this, start the engine. The problem remains, this is not the way out, does not solve the problem! What else could it be?

@@romzes_iv6165 Make sure the rubber O ring on the suction control valve is doing its job. could be the wrong size . or could be ripped slightly. i had this problem before when messing around with second-hand parts. best just to buy a new one off ebay or denso. It might be clicking with 12v but that's a lot different than a few times a second to regulate fuel rail pressure when working hard... Try rubber O ring first. if not just buy new suction control value off ebay. help the channel. Like Subscribe share. Good luck.

@@adamwaters8073 I changed the control valve on the high- pressure pump twice, the problem does not go away. As it seems to me, it is precisely in the vacuum control of the turbine. In your experience, was the elimination of such a cause? I do not know how to correctly decipher the code 1273, I did not find it. Various sources indicate an oxygen sensor but this engine does not have one.
