So I'm in the middle of an ADD evaluation and it's been a rather difficult journey for me so far. I was planing on waiting to talk about ADD until I had a diagnose and knew more about it, but then I figured there might be more people out there in the same boat as me. The ones still trying to figure everything out and haven't been diagnosed yet, so I made a little video. Hopefully it will be helpful to you as much as for me.

I know how you feel, I struggle with the same thing, but I have known about it since I was around 9 years old, so I can actually control it a little (because of medications that I was on for years) but that doesn't mean that I'm fine cause I still struggle a lot. And I have a really bad habit of saying no to a lot and also saying "I'm fine" when I'm not. Hope you find out if you really have it soon, I know it's hard to deal with, but I believe in you :) Best of luck to you :)

Thanks =) I wish I had known it sooner but I've also had dyslexia all my life so me and my family all just assumed it was that or "I'll grow out of it" since a lot of the symptoms are so similar. Is it wired to say I'm happy to hear you struggle with some of the same things too? I mean, it's never nice to strugle, but it's just nice to know that it's not just me

I have ADD too. I got diagnosed when I was 16 or 17. Got medication at 18, but before that I struggled with basically everything! School, work, communication and even at home. It gave me a lot of trouble with growing up and made me extremely anxious and insecure. Since the medication everything has been easier to do. In the beginning I hated myself having ADD, but the longer you live with it, the better you can accept it (what a story :o) But most of the time people with ADD are very creative in all sort of ways. So are you! Even if you are diagnosed with it: YOU ARE AMAZING! Accepting is hard, but it makes you who you are. Never forget that you're not less then others. I'm still not done with the whole thing of accepting and I know it takes time. But one tip I have (very hard to do): tell your boss you (might) have ADD and that you're not able to do 5 things at once. Write things down as soon as you start thinking it's important. That way, if yiu forget, you still have back up and it won't be bad if you forget. I wish you all the best with this and hope it will get better for you. YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON! (This is my longest reaction ever xDD)
