Where we live and the clubs we are in the rule is to have the least experienced riders in the front. Helps with providing tips and experienced riders keep eye on you instead of you trying to keep up with them. Love that you are riding.

Omg Rea I just realized this is in Waikiki! I went to Hawaii a few years ago and stayed at a hotel on that strip. I knew I recognized the area I walked all over that place!

Thanks for an interesting ride in the rain. You apparently are a more confident rider, wet pavement not an issue. Your bike cutting out might have been because you were in too high of a gear at a slow speed. Lastly, nice if you took lead on the next ride.

I once had a weird homeless person walk up to me while I was on a ride, kind of creepy. But made me realize how vulnerable I am for sure versus a car.

Nice ride Rea. Being able to talk to someone while riding is awesome. I know your gonna get a ton of suggestions on that stall, but check the kick stand switch. Ours was bad and caused same thing when she would hit a bump.

Worth checking some Rebel forum for the shutdown, to check if it's a quirk of the bike (not Joking, BMW Hexhead tend to shut down while coasting (i mean slowing down no throttle) due to a combination of lean mixture (emission) and too light a flywheel) or if there is some hint of where to look for some potential problem, usually electrical (which are fun!), a shut down like that usually is down to a short somewhere, aggravated by wet condition. Said that, good job riding in that kind of traffic, i would go nut, especially since you cant split lane!
