This video was a life saver! Also, thank you for getting right to the meat and potatoes! Too many people ramble about a bunch of useless stuff, which is so irritating when you're just trying to solve a problem, lol

Thanks bro I appreciate it! Wife's truck turns and hazards didn't work and your video fixed me up 👍

Thank you SO much for this video. Saved me a lot of $$ and aggravation trying to throw another turn signal switch at it!

Thank you for the video. I always wonder what happened to the days of plug and play parts. When flashers on most vehicles where located in the fuse panel. Too simple I guess for the manufacturers to keep that feature.

I bought the new relay, put my fingers on the old relay and it pretty much fell into my hand which seemed like a bad thing. I pressed it back in and the flashers worked. A mechanic had been inside this dash and left a lot of loose ends but probably not this specific one. So, make sure things are clean and plugged in completely before you even buy the new part.

Last time I changed one of those it was a small little like canister do hickie lol. Can’t remember the cost but it was nothing like what they are now. It just plugged in the fuse box. I say it’s probably been 30 years or longer since I have had to change one. Use to when we would put a trailer plug in on you would have to change it because the factory one would only blink real slow. Good thing I watched that lol. I just figured they were still the same little metal plug 😂. Thanks for sharing, Dustin.

Appreciate the view and comment! Isn’t it something how the times change? I bought a set of headlights for this truck for $60. My newer pickup had a plastic tab break, and just the passenger headlight assembly alone is $600. Luckily with a little ingenuity I found a donor lamp to take parts from. Video soon on that. Stay tuned!

@@DustinT I would hate to know what a headlight or taillight on these new cars and trucks. I’m talking about the LED lights. I would bet that they cost north of a thousand dollars. I hope I never have to find out lol.

Proud Pawpa, I couldn't agree with you more. Then, it was a straight forward plug and play. GM should be embarrassed coming up with this convoluted ''hide and seek" location for the flasher. I have '05 Silverado, glad I stumbled across this vid.🤙

80 bucks! Yea your right they are cheaper online. And NAPA usually has the highest prices in the industry. Thanks for the video though, I always wondered where my flasher module was, I am about to put leds in and I will need to change it out. I would rather not have a piping hot heatsink near wiring or I would wire one into the lights.

New video - nice! How are the amp research steps holding up on the high country?

I appreciate it! Need to get back into the habit of producing content. The amp steps have worked flawlessly. Many miles of dirt road, snow, and ice. I should do an update video soon!
