He did this because a trans woman held a world record. He has done a lot of work in Canada to keep men out of women's sports. After winning the record his next move is to actually appeal to ban biological men from women's sports. Also he was the coach of those women and the record revocations will include his own. I support the guy tbh. Sports should be fair for all and women shouldn't have to see swinging dicks in the locker room.

I’m a former male track and field athlete and I’m very against biological male competing against biological female. However I’m shocked that so many of my women friends think transgender women should be allowed to compete against biological women. They all remember very athletic girls beating average and unathletic boys during their PE classes and think that top women can compete with top men.

I played boys hockey for 14 years. We started hitting in Pee Wee here in Canada when I was 12. I was able to handle myself in contact hockey until I hit 17 (35y now). That is when myself, 5’2 115 lbs (I am lean but strong) was up against fully grown young men. I’m talking some guys weighing 250 lbs (some even larger) and as tall or taller than 6’5”. As far as stature I couldn’t compete but my skill level is what kept me playing year after year. I could skate faster than most of them. I was able to maneuver around them and avoid a lot of their attempts to check me into the boards. I was a digger and spent a lot of time digging in the corners and in front of the net. But I took a f**king beating in the process. The more involved you are in the game, the more you were hit, cross checked, slashed, you name it. But the times when they did make contact, and I couldn’t get myself out of a bad situation, they DESTROYED me physically. My time in guys hockey ended when not one but two gorilla sized dudes, took me out. Two points of contact, one decided to skate as fast as he could directly from their teams bench, and the other from behind me. I was knocked out cold with the first hit and the second hit I was mid air, unconscious and nearly broke my neck on contact. I had to wear a neck brace because I had severe whip lash. It took months for my ligaments and tendons to heal. That was the least of my worries, as I suffered a horrible concussion resulting in me almost instantaneously seizing as I lay on the ice in front of horrified fans including my mother and father who were front row. This brought on a yelling match between the fathers of our team and the fathers of the opposing team. Which lead to an actual physical fight that started indoors and ended in the parking lot of my small town arena. But I didn’t recover from the grade 3 concussion that left me in and out of consciousness from the ice to the ambulance, and on the way to the hospital. I couldn’t stay awake for more than a minute before my brain shut down again. I didn’t know where I was when I finally gained conciseness when we hit the hospital in the city 15 minutes away from our small town.I didn’t know my name, I didn’t remember how I got there or why I was there. No clue what date it was, it affected every aspect of my life going forward. Moral of this long story is that despite me being the only female in my league at the time, and despite the fact that I was a badass for keeping up with the boys and giving them a run for their money.. I shouldn’t have been on the ice with those guys. Now that I have a daughter who wants to play hockey, I will not allow her to play with the boys once contact starts. MEN ARE STRONGER THAN WOMEN. As a female I was far more susceptible to severe injury than the guys. And that is exactly what happened. People need to wake up and realize how ridiculous all this is. Trans Men should NOT be allowed under any circumstances to play any sport against women. Complete BS. ✌️

This is the problem with stripping the meaning away from a word which used to define something. @Maninawig
@Maninawig Жыл бұрын
@@michaelsorensen7567 you'd think, but both Avi and the US Weightlifting Organization point out that gender might be fluid, but the biological advantages aren't. Honestly, I did the math last night, so allow me to nerd out a touch: Focusing on testosterone (the hormones that allow better physical performance), a male biology must maintain 300+ ng/dl (recent studies suggest over 250ng/dl) of testosterone else it becomes brittle (my term). Even on hormones, a trans levels hover at about 255ng/dl. Meanwhile, the female anatomy produces 15-70ng/dl, with the current Olympic max being 144.25ng/dl before they get disqualified for taking performance-enhancing drugs. (Giving trans a biological advantage). So, while one could argue there's no difference in the social aspect of gender-fluidity, there is not only an innate disadvantage towards women in Canadian Weightlifting but a legal disadvantage towards women as well.

He didn't do it because the competition is a bit stiff in the men's department, he did it because the record was held by a transman and he thought that to be unfair to women.

He did it because he is the female teams coach and was tired of men winning women’s competitions. So he casually broke the record (held by a man) by 100lbs.

Here's an idea no ones come up with: Make 3 new gender categories from just men and women, to men, women, trans men, trans woman and non-binary. It's now rocket science (although even that couldn't lift the fat women Influencers)

Some added context; this guy is also a coach of Canada's national powerlifting team. He was sick and tired of seeing his female athletes that he's helped train get beaten by trans men, so he stepped in to show how ridiculous it is that he would be allowed to smash the women's record and take it away from the trans athlete that previously held it.

Suddenly, my generation (born in the 1950’s) is the sanest, most intelligent, AND, we didn’t even know that we excelled at science! Every blasted one of us knew whether we were a boy or a girl, and we didn’t even have to peek! I feel much better about myself, even if I do need my grandson’s help to figure out my cellphone!

You know, a while ago i didn't give a damn about any of this. It just didnt matter to me. I was fine letting things happen no what the issue or outcome was. Im not right-wing and im not left, but im sure as hell happy that i finally started reading and keeping up with current events that are effecting so many people and including children. I was afraid to open my eyes or say anything at all. I was afraid of hurting feelings. Well im so happy I've finally taken my blinders off and took the tape I so tightly put across my mouth. I just felt the need to say that for some reason.
@Misfit710

Same for me tbh. Then me and my soon to be wife started talking about having children. That got me thinking how I would feel if a man in a dress followed her in the restroom or if we have a daughter her. That was my wake up call that indifference and ignoring isn't going to do anything. If doing the right thing is being a bigot then I'm a proud bigot and will wear that label proudly. We all have that "fuck this" moment of clarity; some just later than others.

What gets me is I have had a brain tumour. I'm lucky to have had it removed, it's done some damage but I'm happy I had that tumour over a Malignant tumour. As a direct result I require HRT to function as a healthy man. My endocrinologist has mentioned numerous times, that this is not long term, I cannot stay on the currents medication for more than 5 years because it's so dangerous for my body. I take about 10% of what trans kids get. Why is it hazardous to me, and not to them? We all know the answer it's more dangerous for the kids, but the money rolling into the system outweighs the negative consequences. When ever I mention this I get shouted down quite quickly by the left for misinformation. Because only a certain type of human prioritises money over their patients health. These kids are going to suffer unnecessarily and there will be class actions in around ten to fifteen years because the specialists all know who bad these synthetic hormones are for humans.

My question has always been if a transwoman detransitioned after winning compatitions, do they get stripped of their titles and medals? Do they hunt down previous competitors to redistribute the awards? Or do they just accept, at that point, that a man competed against women?
