You were/are attracted to her as she's now seeing herself as female, and from what i've seen most trans want nothing to do with their "past self" thus if you refer to yourself as bi because of her privates, wouldn't that make things just confusing?. To me, you're a straight guy attracted to your now-female partner. Plenty of cis women peg their bf/husbands and those men are straight.

@@Reddzion eh, sort of? To give a better perspective, if we broke up I'd still be bi. Her male parts are still part of her present self cuz she doesn't want bottom or top surgery. She's just why I figured it out. I do like what you said about the pegging thing, and I don't think it makes them gay at all, but it's not the straightest thing ever? There's definitely no "one size fits all" label. Some people might be in my exact same position but only ever date trans and cis women if that relationship ended. Idk, it's weird, but for me personally yeah that would make me bi.

I was talking to a guy for a while (maybe two weeks or so) online, I really thought he was an amazing man. For sure wanted to meet up. Prior to any plans, he told me he was a trans man. I appreciated him letting me know, and I told him I needed to think on it. I was honestly heart broken, and I could not. Turns out I couldn’t be about that life, but I support those who do.

I'm trans, and I think it's IMPORTANT to tell a date you're trans before a relationship. I made sure to tell my partner this before we dated, luckily he was completely fine with it, but you have to tell before you start anything serious. To be fair to Chris, I feel like his problem isn't being seen as gay/bi by itself, but rather having his girlfriend be seen as a man. I can understand being upset by perceived disrespect against your girlfriend being levied by judgemental concern trolls both on the Internet and IRL. With that said, I can sympathize to some extent with the POV of some of the other people in the comments here like yourself who say, "who cares what people label your relationship as? Just live your lives, be happy, and ignore the haters," but, at the same time, I can sympathize with his POV as well from all the hate he's gotten for his relationship and the respect he has for his girlfriend and her struggle for acceptance. At the end of the day, people just need to stop being so judgemental and nosy. People who wouldn't date trans people aren't bigots and people who would aren't gross freaks. People need to chill tf out lol.

Im a gay man and when I was single a guy I was chatting with back and forth eventually told me they were a trans man and I kindly told them I was only attracted to biological men and he was very respectful and understood and I respected him so much for telling me the truth and we ended up being the best of friends (still.) the way I see it (which I explained to him) it took me till I was 17 to even admit I was gay to my own self and took me till I was 19 before I eventually came out to friends and family, and I told him if we dated I would feel like I was taking a step back because I’ve worked so hard to simply be comfortable with my own self. But honestly, people just need to be reasonable rather they disagree or not, it’s about having an open dialogue but people simply want attack and not listen.

Along with the rise of the trans movement, there is a corresponding rise in de-transitioners who have been permanently disfigured but changed their mind. Nobody seems to be talking about them and if someone does come out as a de-transitioner, they get a whole lot of hate from those who would call you a bigot for saying that giving puberty blockers to children is wrong.

A man is a man, a woman is a woman. A man can't become a woman, a woman can't become a man. A black person can't suddenly become Asian, a dog can't become a cat, a tree can't become a building. Feelings don't override facts. It's honestly as simple as that. That being said, we must treat everyone with respect and kindness. I can fully stand on the truth that biological factors of our DNA cannot be changed by societal norm, and still love my neighbor. I will not use female pronouns with a man, but I am not going to go out of my way to emphasize the male pronoun if I know they're having confusion or dysphoria about who they are. We must love one another as Jesus loved us (John 13:34) and preach the truth of the Gospel so that people can know that true identity is only found in Jesus.

I've never cared about anyone's sexual preferences but a man saying he's trans can change in high schools locker room with man parts and compete in girls sports just by saying I'm trans is a huge problem for me. As far as the bathroom thing, is there an epidemic of boys who are so desperate to get into the girls toilet they say they're trans? They could probably just walk in there anyway. This is beside the point but girls toilets are all stalls. If a guy goes in there he won't be able to interact with the girls. Unless he sticks his head under the door but even saying you're trans probably won't cover for that.

I live in Thailand where there are plenty of transgender women (aka ladyboys) and those who are into them. I've talked to quite a few guys who preferred ladyboys over actual women. They all were adamant that they weren't gay yet they didn't want their "girlfriends" to get the full surgery. Never quite understood it.

She/her pronouns are for frmales. Blaire white is a male and we do not need new labels fkr his sex. We already have one : MAN. Woman means adult human female. Of course a woke person can use pronouns incorrectly, and I can refuse to use them the way thes would want. Of course if I would meet with Blaire, his appearance could fool me. Until very recently, male got male secondary sex characteristics and there was no room for female characteristics, unless in some cases with certain disorders. Stop the idiocity : being a female is not a presentation. We are not actors in theater. Unless Blaire got female sex chromosomes, female primary sex characteristics? He merely wears a female costume and that is not enough for me to use female pronouns.

I would not be attracted to a trans person, but I would have mad respect for one that was honest and up front about it. I don't care whether this guy thinks he's gay or not. Not my issue, not my business. If they make each other happy, and aren't hurting other people, why would someone care? Women are biological females, and that's what I'm attracted to. But I'm not going to yuck another person's yum if that's not their thing. Life is short. Find someone you're happy with, respect other's right to do the same, and get on with it.

This is a hard one for me. I fell in love with a trans woman (no she is not the kind who gives a crap about pronouns. She doesn't play the LGBT game). Now...I wasn't out looking for one, it just happened. I don't think I can say I am gay because I am just not attracted to men in general. Also...I see bi as attracted to both men and women. I am attracted to women, and this one trans woman. I jokingly call myself "straightish" but in truth I don't really feel a need to be classified or to belong to a particular group. I am just a man making his way through this life who found love. That is what matters.

I mean I get it, if you would sleep with a trans woman but not with a man you aren't really gay. The thing is, this would be one of the rare cases I think we should actually come up with a new term for it and be finally done with it. I'm straight, would never sleep with a man but would also not sleep with a trans girl. Yet I still respect them and I am somewhat supportive. The funny thing is I talked with a trans girl extensively before and we came to the conclusion that for me it's absolutely the reproduce capabilites that define the gender I'm attracted to for some weird reason. For example if a trans girl would look like the one in this video (I actually find her attractive) and if our doctors could give her indistinguishable genitals that would also function in giving birth, I would absolutely have no problem with dating a trans girl, but only if all those things are present.

I feel like being polite about referring to them as “her” creates problems and blurs lines. They aren’t women and never will be. Having met and spent some time with trans women I have found that many are unable to be distinguished from a woman, particularly if they have had the operation and transitioned at a young age. There are some that are still very male and are covered in lots of makeup and perfume and its very obvious. None of this makes a trans person bad it all comes down to interpersonal attraction. Some full women can have some male characteristics. You would have to be gay to find a trans woman with a penis attractive but again personal tatses.

My first long term relationship was with a trans girl. I just started saying it was emotionally gay and physically straight (mostly to make people loosen up a bit because it would make them giggle...) but yeah, it really doesn't matter how others label your relationship so long as things are going well within it for you and your partner. Who cares if someone random that you'll probably never see again thinks you or your partner are: ugly, weird, kinda gay, literally anything?? If you two love each other and are happy and are attracted to each other and having good times it's all peachy keen my dudes.

if he was looking to date a woman, he's not gay. if he has always been attracted to women, he's not gay. if he was attracted to victoria in high school, it was because victoria had the appearance of a female. he's not gay. he is attracted to women, to the female form; he is clearly a heterosexual male. now if he also had an attraction for other males, then yes, he would be gay or bisexual. but i don't think that's the case. he likes the female form, he likes women, victoria has every appearance of being female, and in every other way she has what ever qualities he wants in a woman. (sharing the same likes, dislikes, having things in common, etc.). he's not gay. he's an open-minded young man who doesn't let ignorant views of others interfere with his appreciation of the female form. i don't know how better to explain it.
