I got pancreatitis, hospitalized 7days & surgery. Changed my diet, no sugars, starches. Took a year to get down to 160. You're so right Issac it's so unhealthy. Doctor said I almost died so I'm grateful for people like you who just want to help... with a little humor 😂😂😂

Fat phobia is nonsense. And this is coming from a chunky guy. Its our choices of food an habits that got us this way, and our decisions to either get fit or stay unhealthy. So unless a person is suffering from some illness that causes them to become a land whale, don't try to justify or defend fat people. Hell, shame us more, so we can find the motivation to change our diets and get our asses to the gym. I've been hitting it 3 times a week for the past 3 months now, and I'm happy with where I am.

I was 400 pounds when we moved up here from California in 2016. I was 300 pounds in May of '22 when I actively decided this weight was going away. I am absurdly disabled. My eyes, ear, lungs, arthritis and chronic nerve pain from birth made doctors tell me point blank to never exercise and I have died thrice post-childhood from asthma attacks. I lost the weight. 200 pounds is where my body decided to stop. If I can lose the weight with my disabilities, they can with their able bodies. They're lazy.

I fear getting fat. A fat 25 year old woman isn't scary .. but look at a fat 40 year old woman naked. Have her lift up a roll to see the infections, the rashes, the boils. Ask how she keeps her ass clean when she can't reach it? What steroid creams does she smear on with a special stick to help fight the infected boils and sores from getting worse? Take a look at their feet and behind their knees. Look at her drained retirement account as her healthcare costs ruined her and her husbands future.

I was raised by a mom very much in the opposite direction. She was health OBSESSED and anti modern medicine, I almost died of Mumps because she wouldn't take me in to the doctor. I didn't appreciate that part of it 😂 but we were raised with no processed sugar. We had a massive garden and filled 3 industrial freezers every harvest. We raised our own chickens and goats for meat, we had farm fresh eggs, etc. We were homeschooled too so she had us on some pretty intense fitness regiments: 4 mile rucks, lap swimming, cross country skiing. My brothers are absolute units, 6'3 and washboard abs and college football scholarships. Even though I could have done without the anti modern medicine stuff, antibiotics are good, I am grateful she was on the other side of the issue rather making us all obese because I started with a great foundation of health and after 3 babies, I'm still not overweight. I'm trying to strike the balance with my kids.

The redhead girl had a restrictive ED, she got the help that tells her to eat, but she didn't get the help where she overcame her trauma, so she just went in the opposite direction towards excess. Bc it’s just a woman that is in a cis straight relationship and got pregnant. I’ve always been bigger bc I have mthfr and pcos and that causes hormone issues. I’ve always fought gaining more weight. I’ve been 180lbs since highschool (graduated 25yrs ago). I’m diabetic, have neuropathy, retinopathy caused by my above conditions. I have to wear a 2x tops in most things bc my chest is bigger then a ddd cup. I want a reduction so bad, my pants I wear a size large. It sucks bc I’m short but I’m very active and watch my diet but still can’t lose weight, I do have very muscular legs and always have bc I used to roller skate and ride my bike daily for decades. I just wish I could get rid of the pouch in the front. I also have no butt lol

God, that’s legitimately tragic for the redhead, cause at least she could get help for her previous ED. Now she’ll just get constantly affirmed and supported for pushing herself ever closer to an early heart attack. I honestly hope she one day realizes that NOW she really is too large and finds a happy medium…it’s too bad now she’ll have to pay out the nose to remove so much excess skin should she actually lose the weight.

I was obese for most of my life, I use to be over 250lbs and I hated it. At a point in my life I thought I would be that way forever, being fat made me miserable so I did something about it. I started lifting weights and eating healthier and now I'm 150lbs. I feel absolutly amazing. It took me several years, I have been training for about 5 years now and don't want to stop. One of the things that really pisses me off is when I'm talking with women who are over weight and I share my story with them and they tell me well it's so much easier for men to loose weight, it isn't so easy for us women. That excuse just pisses me off.

Research question: How does testosterone affect to the developing baby in utero? What are the long term outcomes for these children? Something else we are going to find out about...
@gbang_34
@gbang_34 10 ай бұрын
I've known meat heads that were worried about the possible effects of roids on their baby after knocking their missus up. So a round muncher had the empathy and worry about their kid even though it's not growing in his body, but this trans man is pumping juice into his/her female body whilst preganant and is more concerned about being able to grow a patchy boy beard instead of her babies health.
@WhatIsItToBurn
@WhatIsItToBurn 10 ай бұрын
There are papers out there that have already done the research, and it's bad for the baby. I have a feeling these people will come off the testosterone when they are pregnant, then jump back on it after.
@TheGodpharma
@TheGodpharma 10 ай бұрын
Are you talking about pregnancy in trans men? It would likely masculinize the baby to some extent even if it were female. Whether that would be enough to be harmful I don't know, but I'd like to think doctors would suspend testosterone administration to any trans man that was trying to become pregnant. Maybe someone else on here knows.

OK. I'm overweight right now due to a number of reasons such as being bedridden and the medication...but also because I ENJOY FOOD. lol. All of us have body aspects where we may dress to accentuate aspects or make other aspects fade. Perhaps we should all do what suits us and restrict the judgments in our society? Of course being overweight comes with its own health risks, as does being seriously underweight. x

honestly i just think that if there are people that cant take a joke and still go to comedians shows, there are bound to be people who contradict themselves on more of an extremist type level of social berating and hatred towards people whom are either trying to help said person with these types of coping mechanisms using things like common sense and healthy lessons. Then again no one really knows the truth anymore because of the norm being twisted so many damn times over so many years. What im saying is, people like this just want attention because they either didnt get any growing up or were neglected and the only way they know how to cope was to hate. so my suggestion is to not give them any attention because that is what is keeping all of this bullshit going

I’ve commented this before, and I’ll keep commenting it. I admit I’m fat phobic to the extent I’m irrationally afraid of being obese even though I never have been overweight. I had nightmares as a kid that a bear was chasing me and I would climb a tree. As a kid I climbed a lot of trees. The thought of being too big to climb (I still can now as an adult climb a tree with no limbs if it’s not too big of a tree) makes me feel afraid. What is wrong with being afraid of something that can kill me?

I used to be a circus strongman (different to the actual strongman, I wasn’t healthy and strong, just big). I was 219.9KG. I didn’t feel anywhere near that big. I’m 6’7 but still, that’s a lot. I’m down to 172-174ish. My size didn’t bother me a lot, except for chairs, for many years. But it’s caught up to me now pushing 40 and I’m fkn miserable and wish I’d cared way sooner.

Once I finally picked up a scale I figured 20 lbs or so. Nope, 80! And I am feeling it hard. Can I ask your method for losing weight? I can't seem to get beyond juggling 5-10 pounds endlessly. 😑

Now that I live by myself my phobia of lightning is uncontrollable. I know I'm safer in my house yet I start yelling to myself, I guess to drown out the thunder, and spend the night in my car in the most lit up populated area I can find. Therapy was a waste of the therapists' time. I broke a friend's jaw once when lightning struck his backyard while we stood at his backdoor because he wouldn't move fast enough. I see terrifying things in the lightning. Now I'm freaked out again and turning on every light with two headlamps at the ready. This is phobia and I freaking hate it especially at 53 years old. Peace

It's actually human nature in many senses. For one, by nature, instinct, the healthier and better looking a specimen is, the more they seem to be the ideal mate. Because, again instinct, demands a healthy partner to produce strong offspring. Also, its instinct for people to like looking at pretty and attractive things. Also, instinct dictates that ugly and grotesque things must be either sick or dangerous, and therefore, instinct demands us to be cautious and to stay away if we can. This instinct, has helped not only humans, but animals as well, be able to survive for so long. 👋🙄

3:20 I’m looking at the two photos of Cinderella and Jasmine and I want to point something out about those photos that the TikTok doesn’t take into account or maybe she didn’t even notice it. The designs of the clothes aid to how the girls appear. Jasmine’s pants are high-rise but there’s also a dip to them, which gives the illusion of a slimmer waist. And not only was Cinderella depicted as malnourished and tiny, but when you put something tiny next to something big, the tiny thing looks tinier. That’s the effect her ball gown has. It goes back to certain clothes making you look better than others.

They make SO MANY mannequins that are plus-sized and it still isn't enough for her because it doesn't look EXACTLY like her body. This is the slippery slope of inclusion. It's never enough for some people. It's basically like, "I'll never be happy with any Ariel, even if she's Black, obese, trans, and disabled. I won't be happy until I'M Ariel." Also, you don't need a mannequin that looks like you. Measuring tape does the job.

Heard something that said most " women objectification " is actually self imposed. As in the majority of guys are ok with your average looking women not a super skinny super model but women are still socially subconsciously convinced that all men want are super skinny super models so they feel the need to keep participating in the very beauty standereds they clam to hate.
