Whenever I watch The rabbitohs I’ve never thought latrell Mitchell was good and now I’m learning he’s a top paid player?!?!? Surely not!!! He just seems like an entitled player and reminds me of Paul Pogba at Man Utd. Someone who won’t run, thinks they’re better than everyone else yet has zero work rate and accountability, Surely the coaching team can see this… 🤦‍♂️

Greg Inglis at 25 was much fitter than Mitchell. They are similarly big men. Fitness comes from hard work and dedication. Mitchell shows neither. He has been blessed with such incredible talent and he is coasting most of the time.

There are at least 6 fullbacks in the NRL better than Mitchell. He's a centre and he isn't 100% fit.

I think that on Latrells physique/fitness that it’s on him. He’s a big bloke no question but he could be a lot leaner with diet, exercise changes and effort. But in games he just doesn’t seem that interested anymore and I’m guessing it’s a similar thing with his physique/fitness

I don't really follow league like i once did, but this is why trent robinson never wanted him moved when he was at the roosters cause he knew what his strengths and weaknesses are. Just like many others are now realising. He has great talent but chooses when to use it and when not to.

cody at 7, whighton at 6, trell at 4, Isaiah tass at 3 johnston at 5, campbell graham at 1. Campbell graham is over 6 feet tall, strong , lean and has great work ethic. Could adapt to the role very easily. I think trell's brother Shaq has greater work ethic and heart than trell, actually surprised me how wel he plays. I also think half the souths team are overweight at least 5kg.

Souths got rid of one of the best halfbacks in the game, Adam Reynolds, to buy Latrell Mitchell. He hasn’t delivered and his suspension in 2021 cost the Bunnies the premiership in my opinion. They’ll be lucky to make the top eight this year.

I think something was off when someone said Latrell is playing fullback at club level to be more fit to be centre at origin level. He should just stick to centre. As for Paul Gallen's comments, fullbacks need to be full of effort, that's the role they play. Like he was trying to justify Latrell's choices when they were terrible.

The roosters knew what they were doing when they passed on making mitchell their future marquee player and let him go to the bunnies, it seemed a brave move at the time to let him go, but now we are starting to see the reasons why.

Let's be honest latrells body is better suited to a front rower. Heavy up top, skinny legs, big stomach is not built for center either. He's built like a prop or a lazy second roe he just has all this talent so he can play center but I wouldn't say his body is at all suited for a back.

It's fine for Latrell to be an activist. The issue is his management. They pushed Latrell to go the fullback angle because they knew fullbacks get more $$ than centers. His management now have souths over a barrel where they are pulling the strings as they manage a lot of their "Star Players". Demetriou and Solly don't have the cajones to stand up to No limits and their players, these players now believe they have this entitlement at the club and the only person who questioned it (Sam Burgess) walked out because they didn't listen to him. Rooster fans knew he was never a fullback, he always was the star center. Robbo pushed Latrell to be better, and he was. It has been nothing but a down hill slope at souths for Latrell but he was made to feel like he was king of the club.
