Oh geez! If I allowed pride to sneak in, it would be bad! I am the only headcovering Christian woman in my church and I don’t know any other Christian women who cover (minus my teenage daughter, but she has been hit and miss on covering for church lately). I try to keep it on the low-low and not make a big deal of my covers. I do talk about it sometimes on my KZfaq channel. I also can see how easy it is to fall into pride when it comes to the actual covers. I tend to want expensive and gorgeous covers, so I have to shut that down. What I have is sufficient.

Don't worry, it may seem it but you're not alone. I grew up in a "head covering church" in Canada and our branch churches, and churches we fellowship with internationally, are all head covering. There are churches all over the world where women cover their hair.

When revelation comes from ABBA Father often times it’s for you... because HE leading you into a deeper relationship with HIM ...Holy Spirit convicts... it’s not our place... pride will hinder our spiritual process... great post
@headcovering4 жыл бұрын
Hi AminK, head covering is something revealed to all people as it is taught in his word (1 Cor 11:2-16). The Holy Spirit therefore says it is for all Christians.
@schoolwork2324 жыл бұрын
I actually sense that God gives an individual the revelation to cover the head because it is one thing to read the word of God and it is another thing to be convicted by what it says. Maybe the other problem is that so many Churches do not dwell on this scripture and when they do, they consider it an old fashioned thing! However, when you have God's revelation, you do not worry too much about others around. You walk your journey with the Lord and realise that at the right time, the Lord will reveal to others too. You boast in being secure in God and what He wants you to do. You do not feel competitive with others. You focus on your journey with the Lord! This is such a beautiful thing! :)

To: Christy Overlin and HCM . All this your SELF CONSCIOUS Christianity is satanic. True understanding of 1Cor 11 isn't this SELF-BASED Christianity you're trapped in, teaching people to be "VERY VERY CAREFUL TO BE HUMBLE", etc. It's better if you run with the Spirit of Jeremiah 9v23-24, CONTINUALLY BOAST IN THE LORD, FORGET SELF (death to self), and keep shunning self by returning to BOASTING IN THE LORD. Don't get trapped in that: BEING VERY VERY CAREFUL TO BE HUMBLE as you counseled by saying: "pride can seep in if we are not very very careful and prayerful in our day to day lifes to keep that humility that God requires of us ... if you're not careful and if you're not REALLY REALLY walking in the spirit ... we need to really guard our hearts and minds so that we are not allowing ourselves to become prideful ... i think by just having a very humble attitude". Anyone who seeks to follow 1Cor 11 and New Testament Teaching should FIRST HAVE KNOWN THAT: the New Testament already gave us warnings ahead of our time concerning the fact that THE CHURCHES WOULD BECOME SATANIC, Church Leaders would become adulterated and lead Churches astray into adulteration/apostasy, which began long before we were born. Therefore we inherited RUBBISH and A Spirit from our Guardians and Pastors. You started your video with: "so WE might see YOUR CAT in the background ... pride can seep into our lifes" . You need to read my article "Pets Are Delicious Meat"; search internet for it. Get rid of those IDOLS of yours. All that SELF-BASED Christianity of yours is A LIE, a trick, deceitful and desperately wicked. You probably also need to read my article "God Did Not Create Anyone For Hell" contrary to the beliefs of men such as Jeremy Gardiner and John Calvin.

Do you practice full-time headcovering or only in the assembly? I'm newer to this based on personal convictions in reading 1 Cor. 11 and praying through the truth of this practice. ❤️

I am new to researching this too. I have not yet learned if head covering is for corporate worship only of all the time either.
@GraceTruth74 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by "praying through the truth". Do you know what PRAYER is?? We need to be aware of HOW FAR WE ARE from what God has called us to in 1Cor 11. Church Leaders should be repentant, child-like and with a life that "trembles" at God's Word (Isaiah 66v1-2). AMONG MANY OTHER EVILS, majority of Church Leaders began rejecting 1Cor 11 (HEADCOVERING INSTRUCTIONS) only in the last 100 yrs of Church History . I encourage you to visit the home page of my website where i have some historical documentation and images concerning EARLY CHURCH and 1Cor 11 . use my username to search internet. I totally agree. Our interpretation (those of us that head cover) of this specific scripture seems right. But since the process of translation there are scriptures that seem confusing to many of us. God will not judge a translation issue as long as they love God with all their heart too. I don't believe this is a salvational issue at all.

This topic can be applied on many cases not just head covering. But I don't see how percieving may become pride. Now I have found something in the bible, now I have woken. Should I not tell others about that they that should wake up too? That does not make sense to me. You don't tell them "wear the veil" or you should wear it too". You just say I have found this and this and it brings me this and this. I think this is normal. The church is made so you can share with fellows. Yet I can undestand the pride behaviour if you act like "All look at me, here I am, I am wearing the veil.". If you preach that they should be quite then they should not preach at all. Don't you think? I am not that generation who thinks that women should not preach. So I think there is nothing wrong on talking about it esspecially if someone asks you why you wear it or to defend themself if they say, "you need not to do that..." just to explain them why you do it.
