since my covid infection (in 2019) i have a cough with phlegm and it continues till today (year 2024) no improvement and phlegm is constantly forming....i don't know what to do anymore......chest X-ray is fine

I found a website that may help: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g72olamazre0mWQ.html . It's a dr. from a clinic in Chicago and he treats "sensory neuropathic cough" or "Laryngeal sensory neuropathy" where the nerve in the throat is irritated from coughing so much (often violently) and it starts the constant coughing, sometimes gagging when you have so much phlegm.

Try vitamin C EVERYDAY, it helps with the phlegm.

Where can a person go in NSW Australia??? This nerve cough as you say just wont go away and i just want to die because of it.
