So Heavy Iron is interested in making an HD remaster and a sequel to Battle for Bikini Bottom, but how will they achieve the license to legally be able to do so? We're lucky that Heavy Iron cares about their fans, and now all we need is a plan to make our dream come true. Activision is still a little obstacle in our way.

A couple months ago a fan has proposed to me an idea of making a kickstarter to fund a sequel to Battle for Bikini Bottom and an HD remaster. While that is a great idea the status of that idea is currently unknown, but what do you guys think? Do you think we should get Heavy Iron to achieve the license for full creative control or should we just keep pushing to get Activision to allow Heavy Iron to make a new SpongeBob game?
Heavy Iron is in full support of these two projects. All we need is for them to get involvement with the SpongeBob license to be able to do these projects. Imagine Battle for Bikini Bottom on the PS4. Imagine an already great looking game modernized on next gen... Imagine a Battle for Bikini Bottom 2...

Can we just acknowledge that without you we may have literally never gotten the remake? You're the onp;ly person I was with a legitimate take on both Heavy Iron games in your reviews. And you were one of the foirst of many to speak pout on the desire to see this happen. So glad this ois actually happening and I really hope to see a responce to all this soon.

+MultiPersonPeople the thing is battle for bikini bottom doesn't NEED an HD remake. it already has way better graphics and character models then heropants, which was made in 2015!!! but come to think of it. maybe we could get BOTH. considering the fanbase both would probably sell many, many copies. :D

Zarikar gaming I think it could use it. BfBB is very blurry (low resolution) with some bad textures scattered around. Game still looks great, tho

+AJSA Emperor besides it will tell us what happened after bfbb, did the robots came to life and get their revenge for spongebob and his friends and the villan is the robot plankton and he's all torn up and he has the secret formula. and image if we get to play as squidward and mr.krabs to help spongebob,patrick,and sandy. or even plankton can be playable. sounds like a great plot.

+Hans Angelito well if you're talking about activision then yes, they do have to be ashamed. i mean think about it, what made battle for bikini bttom and the movie game so good? it because it was made with knowledge and respect for the source, and they made bfbb not just to make money off of little kids, while activision is basically the opposite of that.

Here are my Ideas For Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom 2 Story: moments after Plankton's thrown in prison and his robot mess is cleared the plankton robot returns and makes new robots after plankton gets out he tries to tell Spongebob that it wasn't him making the robots this time but he doesn't believe him but in the end of the game Spongebob actually believes plankton and the planktonbot controls the Spongebob robot from the first game and go's into downtown bikini bottom with the robot and that's the final boss Levels: (First Hub Area) Goo Lagoon Rock Bottom Sand Mountain Sandy Boss (Second Hub Area) The Mermilair Jellyfish Fields The Flying Dutchmans Graveyard Patrick Boss (Third Hub Area) Kelp Forest Karate Island Spongebob's Dream Squidward Boss (Fourth Hub Area) Bikini Bottom Dump Glove Universe The Moon Mr. Krabs Boss (Fifth Hub Area) Downtown Bikini Bottom Tentacle Acres New Kelp City The Final Boss Collectibles: Sprockets and Gears Playable Characters: Spongebob Patrick Squidward Sandy Mr. Krabs i don't know any new robots i have idea's for but what do you guys think of my idea

Now, my first Spongebob game was actually *Lights! Camera! Pants!* on consoles, but *Battle For Bikini Bottom* wasn't too far behind. I liked a lot about this game--the levels, the music, the abilities the characters have, and the many references to the show, including my favorite at *Rock Bottom*.

The loading bug in Revenge of The Flying Dutchman was fixed in the Gamecube version, though an HD remake of RoTFD and the Movie game really screams a Spongebob game compilation like Sonic Mega Collection.

While an HD remake would be amazing and I wouldn't be unhappy if it happened, I'm excited for a sequel. One of my favorite things about BFBB was seeing all the different robots, and in a sequel there would be all new story and robots and it would be sooooo exciting to see what it all is.

I freakin' love the idea of a remaster but I think, the best possible choice is to make it a collection. A collection of the three original ''SpongeBob Squarepants'' games by Heavy Iron Studios in a Collector's Edition and stuff like that. And most importantly in 1080p and 60fps :)

If they make a remake, they should put all the unused levels, the wiped boss fight with Robo- Squidward and Anchor arm part of the Robo Spongebob, and put Glove world since it was removed from the level menu.

Battle for Bikini Bottom 2 Idea: After Plankton is thrown into prison for the robot crisis, the robot mess gets cleaned up. Plankton tries making another robot crisis, but the machine exploded in his cell. The wall exploded, thus allowing him to escape. He runs to the Chum Bucket to start the robot crisis again, but the robots are again, against him but the robots are now more powerful than ever before. So the robots beat up Plankton and Plankton runs to SpongeBob and asks him to stop the crisis. He brings Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Patrick, and Sandy all team up to stop the robot crisis Gameplay: Every segment of Bikini Bottom, the gameplay changes. There are also co-op, mini games, new moves too! Characters: SpongeBob Patrick Squidward Sandy Mr. Krabs

While Battle For Bikini Bottom is a tiny bit over praised (i mean, Fawful's Minion called this game the best 3D platformer game out there), its nice to see that HIS is probably going to do an HD remake. Hopefully it will be as good as Ducktales Remastered.

I never played Battle for Bikini Bottom, but, I'd love to play it on Nintendo 3DS (If they make a 3D remake, that is)! In fact, here are some platforms I would like the HD remake to be on: Wii U Xbox 360 Xbox ONE Playstation 3 Playstation 4 Playstation Vita And hey! How about the Nintendo NX! (That console hadn't came out yet, but it is coming out this year!) P.S. I've played Plankton's Robotic Revenge, but I haven't played HeroPants.

Did you hear?? :D THQNordic has teamed up with Nickelodeon, and are going to remaster old Nick games, INCLUDING BFBB!! For ALL current consoles! (PS4 and Xbox One confirmed) ( I don't know about Nintendo Switch though, but it should happen!) And even NEXT GEN CONSOLES AS WELL!! PS5, and "Xbox Two"!

I LOVE battle for bikini bottom. I am 13 and I got the game when I was really young. I played so many hours of that game. But something terrible happened I lost the game! So now I'm rekindling my childhood on a ps2 emulator on my PC. I would love a remake for the PC or a sequel. I hate Activision

SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom was released on The PS2, The Original Xbox, and The Nintendo GameCube, on October 31st, 2003. That should answer your question:)

Hey sup Fred! It's me "Fatality Krouzer aka Steven" my real name haha. I just stumbled upon your video again and seen that you used my email! Did not even realize you messaged me back with "Still no word yet?" To answer that, Heavy Iron did not get back to me with an answer about Nickelodeon. I am still trying to get the whole kickstarter thing started. Also, in relation to your comment about "I wonder what he thinks about Heropant." I thought it was the same shit as Plankton's Robotic Revenge, but not as horrid. Also, I don't know why they didn't release it for PS3 and PS4? Anyways, great video! I wonder if one day I will ever hold a psychical copy of Battle for Bikini bottom remake or sequel. I guy can still dream.
