I wear my heelys to escape my feelys

Just got some heelys I’m gonna impress my siblings with my *MAD SKILLZ* *Update: so I am currently at the hospital*

If anyone needs a tip, I just figured one out while trying to heely like 5 minutes ago. So, Its really important to keep the foot that youre putting foreward almost directly in front of the other one. Its not actually supposed to be directly in front, but when youre trying to heely without falling you should try to get into that position. Also, for those of you that keep falling backwards and scraping your hands, you keep doing this because your feet are flying out from under you. Meaning while youre rolling foreward youre bringing your feet beside eachother so you have no foot behind you to keep yourself steady. If you wan to stop falling, try to master ALWAYS keeping your feet in the skating position. Never right beside the other one. And one more thing for those of you still reading, some of you arent strong enough at the moment to heely, the muscles in your legs arent used to being in that position for a long time. So if you notice that after a session of practicing your heelying skills youre sore, thats exactly why. So try to practice a little every day and build up your strength. you might have perfect balance and form, but without any strength in those muscles you wont be able to heely without your feet going down and stopping you.

I had a pair of these in elementary school. They were banned cause too many kids were getting hurt lmao. I'm 25 now and about to order me those sick af Rugrats ones. I wish I had these when I worked at a grocery store. I would've loved to use them with the electric jack, scooting around the store.

back in 2nd or 3rd grade, my school had all the kids with heelys take the wheels out until they were off school property because god forbid a kid *scrapes their elbow* and they have to write an *aCciDeNt rEpOrT*

I find that whilst step plant kick is good for first learning heelys, to go for longer distances faster I usually either run for a few steps then lift one leg, glide on the other for a sec then put both down or jump into it. Hope u find this helpful :)

I got them on Xmas! Practice every day for about ten minutes. I stated by a wall, put my feet it position and pulled myself along. Once used to that I heelied in the hallway where I had 2 door knobs to help me to not fall. Then I did it slowly and started to go faster. I can already go pretty fast

I never had Heelys myself but I vaguely remember them being a big deal back in my early high school days. I'm 34 now and last night I had a dream I was back in high school and wearing a retractable pair of these, even though teachers in the hallway told me they're not allowed. Sometimes I retract the wheels in their presence and other times I just try to Heely around while avoiding being seen by any problematic teacher. I've had this kind of dream multiple times before over the past few years, even though I royally suck at roller-skating/blading/boarding/anything with wheels. Sometimes I'm even losing control or crashing into things/people in the hallways in my dreams, but for the most part I'm not too bad with them. I just find it funny how a trend from over a decade and a half ago that I never took part in, wasn't rampant around my own high school, and hadn't been on my mind much at all despite thinking the concept of Heelys is cool is suddenly appearing in my dreams. Guess I'm living the bad boy edge life I never had back then. 😂 Pretty cool that Heelys makes adult sizes too...🤔

Just got these yesterday as an early Christmas present I learned in about 2 hours it’s so fun!! (I do not recommend to people that don’t ice skate, roller skate or rollerblade if you do those things I do recommend)

Protective gear is in fact required at the European Heel championship. That is the tournament that requires full protection. There is another tournament in norway that only requires a helmet. Where I heel, people generally do not wear protective equipment. There are however a handful of young children in the neighborhood who can be observed with at-least helmets.
