I've never listened to Helen Zille. Like I do not remember hearing her speak for even 30 seconds. it is not because of any opinion I had of her, it is just I do not have much interest in politics... But wow! she is one of few, if there is any other, politicians who speaks facts. I can't believe I agree with everything she says and I preach it to everyone who lends me their ear...

I hate identity politics and this notion that because my skin has a high content of melanin I am expected to think a certain way. This group mentality nonsense is what has messed up many countries. I will never stand beside anyone simple because we share skin color or speak the same language. I will stand besides anyone with whom I share ideology and belief. Regardless of their origin.

Suriname is in South America and it got rid of its former dictator Bouterse (yes, one of those patronage people) but the new coalition is not much better but there are demonstrations in the street against its nepotism. No, it has nothing to do with race. The world should listen to you.

The DA's strategy is irrational, they're hedging their success based on the politics and happenings of the ANC, which is totally outside their control. Is it really more likely that the ANC would form a coalition with the DA than EFF? The ANC is losing votes to the EFF, not the DA, which is effectively the (former) youth branch of the ANC. Culturally, the EFF and ANC are far more aligned than the DA and ANC. They used to be colleagues, after all...

I like your thinking especially the views about what WHO wants to impose on us, and your processes. Your immigration policy is one of the BIG turnoff for many black ordinary and middle class South Africans who are experiencing the challenge of living in Townships which have become BIG refugee camps and surrounded by ever growing squatter camps in 2022 and the 21st century! I hope you know that, black families operate in a nuclear and an extended family system and what touches a section of the family and community touches all. Hence our "black tax" system. Your policy doesn't put SAcans first and this is a big problem for the vulnerable SAcans. It is also ridiculous because all countries in the world, put their citizens first and particularly the most vulnerable ones. Regarding amnesty for people who came here illegally many without even basic passports is utter rubbish!!!!! Change these and see many poor people voting for you. If you don't know that the key factor that's going to decide the 2024 elections is nothing but immigration. If you don't know that then you are can't asleep! You cannot develop a credible migration policy without doing a lot of leg work in townships. Perhaps you need shacks to be erected in Campsbay or in front of your house like it happened in Brokklyn in 2019/2018 and the church in Cape Town Town and then you will empathise with the people in Townships. You party is ignoring and demonising Put SA First Movement and Operation Dudula at your own peril. Hear them out, their approach and some of their rhetoric may not be correct, but they have some level of merit and truth in what they are saying! Again in case you don't know, 2024 elections are going to be decided by policies on Immigration!

Our flawed democracy is leading us away from prosperity to rather economic regression that results to perpetual poverty and human suffering. Is that what human race designed for? If so why condemn suicide as short-cut to salvation from the carnage of this pandemic?

Meritocracy is tantamount to white privilege in South Africa. If we did not have over 300 of black subjugation since White colonialism then we could perhaps start to consider meritocracy. Right now we need to be speaking social justice.

Some years ago we had a problem with corruption on our golf Estate and preferential treatment of some insiders close to the City of Cape town. We approached her for help but she turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to our problems. I will never vote DA in my life again.
