Its not that you buy games in gamepass, obviously your gonna do that if its offered, but not buying your games is the reason xbox pivoted and went to gamepass, thats the real argument.

Imagine saying it's a flex to support the people making your hobby. I can get it on gamepass where the developer gets a fraction of the revenue or i can buy the product and keep the studio alive. Then you wonder why 3rd party companies voluntarily skip xbox. Do you wonder why the quality of xbox games have decreased? Why is Xbox suddenly marketing games that are going to other platforms. No one is saying that you should be financially irresponsible, gaming is a luxury. But championing a service that will eventually destroy the hobby is a no go. You have lots of people that have bought a game only for it to show up on gamepass just after, guess what that tells them 'don't buy games on xbox' or 'wait for gamepass'. I know there are tons of actual gamers on xbox that buy their games and i'm sad for those people. But all you gamepass stans will be the death of the brand.

Smoove, I don’t think you’re wrong for playing games on GP for the majority of your gaming. Xbox offers the product and you’re using it. At the same time, I don’t like influencers peddling that GP and subscription gaming is the future and best model going forward because of ABC. Because it clearly has issues as well. Again that’s for MS to figure out and not the consumer. If GP is not growing and game sales have decreased because of GP, Xbox might have to get creative like put games on other platforms. But at the same time, people can’t say they want GP for all these games day and date and then wonder why games are going multiplat.

Activision treated TFB like crap forcing them to release Crash 4 during a console launch and then consigning them to the COD sweatshop. I’ll go further - even the online Crash Bandicoot fanbase have disrespected TFB, constantly nitpicking when they’ve easily made the best new Crash games since Naughty Dog. If they no longer get access to this IP then frankly there’s enough blame to go around. Fantastic developer and I am devastated that this could mean the end of their stewardship of Crash. No one gave them their flowers.

People are comparing Halo with Helldivers 2 because of odst... and doesn't help that 343 pitched the idea to Microsoft many times and got rejected every time, lol!

Halo the face of Xbox, has over 5 games and the master chief collection couldn't launch right. Helldivers 2 servers were full because of too many people. Helldivers 2 didn't have access to all the funds Xbox has.
