One major detail missing from the coverage: Napoli has 100% of image rights of their players. So using Osimhen's image like this is legally legit, but they're actually defaming him. The player is entitled to a lawsuit, but the renewal problem goes beyond that. And the PK TikTok is just cringe - you can be banter-ish to your own player, but this is cringe and stupid.

If I'm being 100% honest I really didn't understand the coconut video at first I just thought it was really weird and didn't think it was funny but it did look like the club making fun of their own player. I can see now how it is very racist and even more offensive than it already was and the penalty video was also wild considering the fact that the club were making fun of their own player to begin with which we've never seen before. And on top of that Napoli released some bull statement instead of formally apologizing to Osimhen. Absolutely ridiculous on all levels. Hope Osimhen takes legal action towards them.

The more embarrassing this is what Napoli management did after thos incident happen. Absolutely nothing.
