Honestly, he is an actor though. I'm not saying he's the best Shakespearian method actor in the world or whatever but he has the ability to forget about his reality and create a new reality and become part of it and that's all acting really is. Even when he came out and said "Break a leg. I did." he was acting. I'm sure he didn't feel naturally antagonistic toward them. He briefly just created a new reality for the sake of humor or to get a rise out of someone. Not everyone can do that. Not everyone can make their mindset vastly different easily and quickly.

i did chat with danny devito once, it was at an art gallery in west hollywood, i went there to see an afternoon of performance art which as it turned out was organized by Danny's daughter, so Danny was there, and also Rhea Perlman, Danny's wife (Carla on "Cheers".) It was exciting to meet him, and to be in the same room with her. He didn't mention Henry.

He isn't a comedian. He shares truths that just happen to be funny. Acting? That depends on the part he is given. "He Never Died" was a fantastic movie where Henry had a bit of a stretch as his character consumed raw flesh. He played an excellent skinhead in Sons of Anarchy. You should check him out in "Wrong Turn 2". Don't forget "The Chase" where he does a REAL stretch and plays a cop.
