In this video, I tell you everything that is wrong with my 2003 Yaris T-Sport. The issues are not major at all, but are irritating due to this car being so clean. I hope you enjoy the video.

I used to have Toyota Yaris 1.0 from 2000 year and sell it with 301.000km.very reliable small car

Good vid Zach, seems like nothing major. If you could review a Corolla T Sport that would be awesome. Those things can beat Civic Type R’s I’ve heard! Mega underrated.

Also be careful with that long lanyard when getting out the car. I had a long one like that on my Abarth 500 (don’t have it anymore) and I snapped the key when getting out as it got caught on my leg! I’ll never use those things again 😅

Thanks mate, I'll see if I can get one on the channel. And yeah, I bent the key to my old Yaris with that lanyard 😂 haven't done it since though as I always move it out the way

Corolla T-Sport is really quick! My buddies stocker can keep up with my Colt CZT which has 200hp and less weight!

@@ZGVlogs I'm selling my Corolla Tsport. Starts and drives first time, however, needs a new clutch, a shock absorber and has an engine misfire. So it's gonna be a low price

We hav two of these - one red ; one black. Both Phase1. The red paint laquer peeled in places : roof , front and rear bumper , and just below the glass on the tailgate lid :sun damage ; needed respraying at a good paint shop. Would be better to hav the original suspension height and the 185/55 tyres. What is the condition of the front subframe? New ones are unavailable for this model - but would be good to see a comprehensive video on youtube about the procedure and basically who would want to fit a replacement / labour costs. An MOT "advisory" does not elaborate ; eg "replace with a better , used one" or "remove and clean up , then replace with a Waxoil coating"

Excellent vid on TS "niggles" little issues that annoy...😉@4:08 were you looking for the word - "longitudinal"?👍seems like common issues as most of what you mentioned i've got also. The suspension squeek on mine was a dry rubber bush - try a bit of lube i.e. a dab of grease worked on my offside front (bottom of the shock). The exhaust rattle on mine was a loose internal baffle in the mid section not a heat shield and mine was blowing where the pipe went into the mid silencer on the backface. Replaced it with a new mid section - £200!! Fitted now connected to a HKS hiflow BACKBOX and has brought the car alive 😁👍mid range is pukker. P.s. my radio is ok at the moment. I have seen double din ones fitted? Any thoughts or vids on this??

Cheers for the long comment 😂 my exhaust split completely shortly after this video at the centre section. Welded it backup and it's fine, that's what the rattle was. You need a double din fascia for the radio, but they're rare. Jump on Yaris Club UK and ask about. Someone might have one

lol. these aren't even faults. Even 5-year old cars have imperfections like these. The real fault with these cars is the wheel bearings, almost every inspection one needs replacing.

Hello, did you manage to fix the radio thing? I have the same problem. I'm almost certain it comes from the antenna base on the roof.

most solid car ever, I've got 193k on it and had 0 faults ever other than normal wear and tear (plus dents from dickheads at the supermarket) :) Yours is really tidy tho

Sounds like some of the problems are the same like my Yaris aswell (mines a t spirit but hopefylu soon I'll get the t sport)

Yeah man, it's a shame as mine is so clean and these little bits let it down. And yeah, deffo get a T-Sport. Get yourself on Yaris Club UK on Facebook. Always ones going up for sale

@@X774M fair play. Insurance is so cheap on them as a first car. I found they were cheaper than things like Seat Ibiza 1.2s and that. It was actually the cheapest 1st car I could find

@@ZGVlogs True for me the difference between my t spirit 1.3 and the t sport is £30 more a year but I could get a second gen yaris 1.8 sr for £150 more a year but at the same time I prefer the look of the first gen yaris

Funny how you refer to these as things "wrong" with tbe car and I call them querks. When you have to spend £2,000 on repairs like I did that's something to complain/moan about

Swap the unit out I believe or go aftermarket. Thats what I've heard from some people

Try ti hit the radio from the side, no joke it makes a pop noise thro speakers and starts working.. works on my yaris

My Yaris radio would do that occasionally. Found out it was due to interference from placing phones inside the cubby holes.

Probably late for an answer but still.. I also had problems with the radio turning off by itself and it looked like a poor connection somewhere so I took it out, opened it, and resoldered every larger point and checked it for any cold solder joints or something like that! After putting it back in it's been working great for weeks so far! Hope it lasts :D

It is, the T-Sport and SR were built in Japan and sold to the UK. The more baseline ones are French built by Renault (to my understanding). But yes, the T-Sport and SR are deffo Jap built.

@@ZGVlogs they were not built by Renault. They were built by Toyota Motor Manufacturing France.
