This is really good advice. The sad reality is that people fall for these regularly, on KZfaq or elsewhere. To be fair, this type of thing doesn’t need a very high percentage of successful engagements in order to be profitable. So in that sense it’s probably a little *less* successful than we might assume. Still, please remind everyone you care about - If a stranger reaches out to you to give you something, and then they “need a small fee” to give it to you… It’s a scam. Full stop. Don’t give money to random people who say they’re going to give you something.

Many channels are going through the same thing here on YT, they are everywhere now.

These scams were the reason that comments started to disappear.

Another way to derail them, if you've already fallen in, is to ask "you (not you)" to ❤️ the comment they replied to... only the actual channel owner can do that.

I get these love letters from so many folks I watch on KZfaq, and I have won so much random stuff, NOT. Truth is, I am surprised that anyone would not know these are scams. Every single youtuber that runs a contest/giveaway, makes a video about said event. Easy to tell the difference.

I ignore them. MOST of them want an individual to get on Telegram which I don't have in my app's for OBVIOUS reasons.
