Needed a reliable daily, not a fan of the new turbo/direct injection engines for a daily so I went with the port injection proven K series motor and the Manual transmission (Lots of problems with the new CVT autos). Nice video Scotty, keep up the good work. The 1st car I ever bought with my money was a 1967 Camaro. I got it November 1977. The motor was from a Vet and had a HP of 540. 4 speed inline Hertz stick, 12 inch bell housing, high speed/interceptor rear end. I got a ticket once for going 95; I was only in 2nd gear running 6200 rpms. This car leaked oil; coming out of both ends. Broke both motor mounts within a year, broke the clutch plate a year later. I learned more about cars in those 2 years than most mechanics learn in a life time. That is why I like your videos. You know cars.

When they open the new joint Mazda/Toyota mega plant in Huntsville along with the Toyota engine plant, and mega plants to for years now with Mercedes and Hyundai also sending many hundreds of thousands of new cars and SUV's around the world will soon make Alabama the 4th largest new car producer in America. Alabama is also home for two major car makers new battery plants and Air Bus with 10,000 high paying aero space jobs is producing three excellent passenger planes one on the cover of my 6th best selling book. I flew in one last year to Australia with my wife and it is very quiet and comfortable for long flights. Has 170k miles, the only time it's been to an actual shop was to get the clutch replaced at 160k miles. So it does have deferred maintenance, but it's still an amazing car. But my particular car was mad in Japan Sepetember of 2002. The name Acura speaks for itself on the quality and engineering perfection. I hope Honda/Acura can keep the same quality because I really want to buy another one of their products. Lol
