WOW, look I'm in one of Tofu's videos :) btw I was the Yui. Wish I could have gotten better chases. Two things I wanted to point out. I unhooked Cheryl last, thought you had saw me because I ran to the right to the rock loop. Unfortunately scratch marks were apparently non-existent. Secondly, that nea was urban evading around the edges of the map the entire game. I think she touched a gen once. Also, it is pretty much a miracle that I got in a match with you because I'm all the way across the U.S in Florida. Regardless, keep being you Tofu

Tinkerer on Oni has been working very well for me.

Try using pop over chili so you have a back up for ruin

The thing with the apex muffler is that survivors can still hear when your chainsawing because of Billy's ARAAGGGGH you can hear it no matter where you are on the map it's a useless add-on

Thank you for this tip for getting out of "tilt" when you cannot land chainsaw. I often got that and I think your advice sounds great.

I'm pretty sure they did something with his chainsaw hitbox, i've been getting some really weird chainsaw misses/ghost lately

I think this might work well on Pyramid Head. PH probably uses undetectable the best since he doesn't need LOS to deal damage. A smart one could manipulate LOS blocks to creep close enough to get a multi hit if multiple people are fixing it.

This is my new billy build but I use Pop over ruin. If you can land a quick down the regression below tinkerer is nearly guaranteed but with ruin they can have another survivor pick up the gen or it just won’t regress enough. Both work well but I like the more consistent pop over a 12 second ruin.

Billy has always been the most mobile guy. Nobody else pressures like him. You can have traps like Trapper to deny areas, but those can be tripped. Hag traps can be defeated by flashlight. Most people know the basic rule of Nurse - you hear her heartbeat, her base full blinks can reach you. Demo can set up portals but those can be taken out. Oni could potentially do pressure, but only when he's already in that rage mode, so it's limited for him. Billy is one of the few who really benefits from Tinkerer, since he can be on that gen in a matter of seconds.

Maybe replace hex ruin with pop. Could increase the value you get, but you’d have to down someone to get it. Either way, it decreases risk reward and encourages good play for great return :)

I think this build will be good on both saw boys. It would be better on billy because of the undetctable and the speed at which he can get there. But bubba can delete everyone on the gen plus with undetectable he can get closer.

Could you please request the devs to bring back the old animation for hits with the chainsaw, it’s not as satisfying, also it hurts the hillbilly community :(

I'd swap either BBQ or whispers to add discordance so you can tell how much time you actually have to get there when or before tink pops off.

The thing about Tinkerer is that since it causes the generator to explode the survivors will definitely know you're probably coming and run off it right away. That's why Tofu kept not finding anybody at the generators when he sprinted to them, they were already off in Narnia as he likes to say. That's not to say the new buffed Tinkerer isn't good, it's giving you useful information and the Undetectability can get closer to a survivor before chasing them. But I don't think you should be expecting to get a lot of instant chainsaw hits and grabs from Tinkerer, they already are going to be on high alert after the explosion. If you really want to play Billy for the chainsaw ambush, you need to use Undetectability and play him more like Wraith where you sprint places they aren't anticipating you to be and hit them from unexpected angles. For instance, you can use Trail of Torment on Billy to gain Undetectability for 16 seconds after kicking a gen and then chainsaw sprint to anywhere on the map in 5-10 seconds and still get an ambush attack. Or you can use Tinkerer but, instead of racing to the gen that exploded, race to a different spot that you think someone is at and ambush there. (That especially can work if you think the survivors are simply running from the gens that explode anyway since whoever worked on that gen won't be doing anything productive for a bit anyway.)

Tinkerer is surprisingly strong on Demogorgon, just because you have tonnes of map presence already with your portals, and with the information from Tinkerer, you know exactly which gens to contest and when to do so. Undetectable is also nice I guess. Also pop +tinkerer will bring a gen back to atleast 74% regression so if it just loses 4% regression it will drop back to 70% which is the threshold for tinkerer to trigger again. Also noone expects Tinkerer demogorgon, literally noone

I like the perks, I feel like if you replace whisper for ( can’t remember the name) the perk that lets you know a survivor is on a totem that would be useful cause then you can chain saw back and protect the hex. Thanks for sharing love your vids man

Dbd should make an achievement for you keeping ruin up for a whole match

I feel like if you took off whispers or bbq and replaced one of them with thrill of the hunt, then this would be a sick nasty build.

Tofu you need to try discordances instead of whispers to get the full value of apex muffler , it’s awesome

Try using Monitor, tinkerer, Trail of torment & either ruin or Pop & keep the same add ons extremely scary nasty build.

Tinkerer + Cruel Limits on a killer who can challenge pallets (pallet Freddy, illusionary pallet doctor, Billy, Demogorgon). It's a meme, but it could be fun.

I do that build since one year. Really good to defend a gen

Something that bears mentioning about this perk combo is that it transforms your early game into something that creates an immense amount of pressure. Which is important for even m1 killers like clown because their early games are so beyond trash that they can lose 2-3 gens just by not finding people in time. And if you do it right. The survivors can't even finish a gen without sacrificing time to find ruin. Sound familiar? Also this build is insane on legion. Just saying.

You should add thrill of the hunt instead of whispers and you will slow down totem destruction as well as hold map control.

You should try this build with the perk surveillance and maybe take off one of the two tracking perks. Just an idea not sure if it’s any good.

I’m sure u could probably get surge mainly in that build and possibly discordance

The chainsaw overheat is so slow and it goes away pretty fast it seems to only punish Billy's that are persistent to get the chainsaw rather than m1 It is still unnecessary

In the second game, i think you should have just committed to the loop and made Feng drop that -one of the strongest in the game- pallet, instead of trying to cheese out a chainsaw. She already showed her willingness to play safe with pallets when she threw the basement duo back to back.

Ruin's gonna be such an S tier perk again if the new Hex from the PTB goes live that says 'oh yeah, don't worry, first hex broken isn't Ruin no matter what!'

What about replacing Whispers with Pop Goes The Weasel? Then once Ruin is gone, you've got a backup plan. Or replace Ruin with Pop. Just a theory crafting suggestion.

Mount Ormond is my favorite billy map

the apex muffler has a lot of potential and the build your using is good but instead of wispers i recomend ruin with surveillance and bbq together with tinkerer i think this build is sneak billy perfection. your ARGHHHH will still be heard tho when using apex muffler but survivors will propably still not expect it.

Love the video I also think it’s cool you’re song daily content but you do you man no ones pressuring you (except us of course lol jk) but the build is sound and think it’s good but I’d take out whispers and put in PoP instead bc even tho it won’t work when ruin is up but it’s good to have it as a back up for when ruin gets destroyed & also with pop it will keep the gen under 70% if you get to it in time.. Wouldn’t Freddy work well with this? Like tinkerer pops, you start teleporting to the gen, they get off out of instinct and ruin starts regressing the gen

Say, I gotta ask: My friend told me that Killers should be secret for as long as possible for the survivors, so unless they spot the Killer, a Pool of Devotion or a Jigbox, they shouldn't know who it is, going even as far as going for a default Hook instead of a personalized one. It seems in lieu with what you say at 14:05. BUT the few times I play survivor with my friends, the first tip on the loading screen is always a "Facing the [Killer]", or "Playing against a [Killer]", and so far it always told me exactly who I'm up against.

Tofu how is the ranking system affecting you? My mmr is really high on some killers like my huntress cause I win of my games. Gens go even faster, everyone runs ds unbreakable, and im getting games with no weak links (basically making the game almost impossible to win). This sucks for me in particular because I don't run any add-ons (immediate disadvantage) and I play almost all the killers. I even have high mmr on some lower tier killers like pig. Additionally, queue times are the absolute worst right now. Even worse than before at any time of the day. I don't want to wait 15 minutes for a match.. Maybe I'm just rushing the situation. I just don't like having to be super sweaty to win so it's frustrating. Just my thoughts. EDIT: Ya I swear fengs hit box either doesn't exist or they are lucky af. Literally had a Feng cost me a huntress game I was about to win because she was avoiding Hatchets by the skin of her teeth. I mean it doesn't help one went directly through her, but u get the point.

Honestly with this I think that surveillance would've been better instead of whispers for the fact that it's a perfect combo with ruin and you know exactly where they are if the survivors happen to get off a gen

Any tips how to become a better killer? I've been playing killer for a few days been very very frustrating. I'll hit survivors and may hook one but seems like they been always escaping. I've been using perk whispers to help locate survivors but been somewhat difficult to find. I've played survivor so I know how they move. Any tips?

What about pop? Pop would probably regress the gen to below 70%, so it might be better than ruin
