Legion recently got a shadow buff, which allowed him to keep his aura-reading abilities after stabbing someone during Frenzy. This buff makes Fuming Mixtape much better than before, and gives it almost as much use as Whispers in the early game. It also helps out a ton when you stab someone and can't see people with Killer Instinct. Edit: Now I know that that was actually a bug fix, not a shadow buff. Thank you for telling me.

Pretty sure the Devs just gave Legion one of Wraith's ultra rare add on. Both require your power to be in use and both show gen progression via color

Tofu, if you're really running out of Ultra-Rare combos, Burger King Myers is always an option. Or you could go the opposite route and try to make the BP add-ons (Padded Jaws, Speed Limiter, Scarred Hand, Kids Drawing, Rickety Chains, etc) more effective? There are technically almost endless add-on/perk combinations in the game. I'm sure you'll find some you enjoy. We'll watch them no matter what.

A couple of things I noticed and feel should be commented on: - In terms of using FM to locate Survs on gens, you are either going to use it while using Frenzy for mobility or to locate worked on gens before picking a Survivor up. - In the case of mobility, using Cold Dirt to reduce the cooldown of Frenzy would've made sense since it makes using Frenzy for mobility less punishing. I feel like it suits your playstyle more and if you manually cancel the power, you have more control of when it comes back - especially since you rarely cancelled the power and just ran to gens while in Frenzy instead of saving it. It often meant you struggled to get hits and had to resort to being an M1 Killer. - The only ways to cancel the Frenzy are by picking up Survivors or getting stunned. If you used Frenzy before picking up a Survivor, you could see what gens are being worked on and have Frenzy recharged by the time you hook the Survivor, thanks to the Ruler. You got plenty of use out of Enduring, but I'd put that down to it being an under rated Legion perk. - Stolen Sketch Book could've also been decent with how you used Frenzy while approaching gens, since you'd have more time to catch Survivors running from the gen. - In terms of perks, this is one of the few times I'd recommend Monitor on Legion. Usually it messes with your terror radius too much and muddles Killer Instinct up a ton, however you already have a general idea of where grouped Survivors are working on gens and Monitor would help you sneak up easier. A lesser known Legion fact is that using Frenzy increases your Terror Radius. If you're using FM to locate worked on gens, you'd want a smaller Terror Radius to sneak up easier, something Monitor would help and counteract the inherent TR boost. I think the biggest reason that FM feels decent, is how closely it resembles Tinkerer. Both give you information on when a gen(s) is close to completion. FM just doesn't give you Undetectable - which is arguably better on Legion so your Killer Instinct doesn't get cancelled. Overall, really interesting stuff! I'd love to see you attempt a match with both of Nurse's Ultra Rares lol

it's a little thing, but i really appreciate how you don't get angry when survivors juke you or run a good loop. you just tend to either get impressed, or chat about their strategy, and it's really soothing

You should 100% do a part 2 to every build. Not only are the builds just fun to watch, but the larger the sample size the better we can tell how good an add-on really is.

I've actually started using Ruin + Pop on my own when I run killer. I am only playing in green ranks, but Ruin seems to force the survivors to find that totem which slows the game down a little bit. Then instead of being absolutely bullied by gen-rushers Pop helps me slow those gens down while simultaneously being able to see chases until their end (unless I know I'm gonna get rekt by some rank 1).

Been using this ever since I bought legion a few months ago. Honestly think it's seriously underrated!

Suggestion: Freddy has a purple add-on that makes him invisible when carrying someone if you're asleep. Do an agitation build with thrilling tremors and you can get some good jump-scares. Tip: Set up snares near gens so the sleepy heads who see you and run away don't make it too far.

A part 2 to these videos would be great. I feel like not all of them have been that conclusive, this video being a prime example. Doing some more games and maybe switching up the build a little would be very interesting to watch imo.

Honestly, ever since that change to lightborn happened, i'm using lightborn on all my killers it's hilarious to see survivors struggle so fucking hard to flashlight save their friends, only to have me knock them down in the process

I honestly like these add-on videos. I'm learning a lot about the game! As for Pop / Ruin Combo, I honestly feel like Pop and the new totem perk is going to be waaaaaay better (I forget what it's called. Hex Undying? The one that moves cleansed totems to dull ones!). You don't have to kick gens at all, but you don't have to worry about your totem being cleansed 5 seconds into the game lol.

I especially enjoy your content on rather "weak" killers, and most of all Legion, since they're my main. I would love to see another part of you using this add on, with maybe another perk combo :) Keep up the amazing videos, love them and u

I think part twos for all of them would be a good idea. Also as someone else in the comments said, I agree that builds around the BP (nerf) add-ons would be interesting as well.

In response to the outtro, I think a part two of the series would be really interesting especially if it looked at different potential perk builds or addon combo's, or even if it was just a look to see if anything might be better/worse than previously thought.

You should definitely do a part 2 of this one. It felt like the survivors in the second match gave up. Legion is the one killer I've been playing consistently, but I had been ignoring this addon because it didn't seem that helpful as the others.

i really like ruin and pop, ruin is great for the early game, allowing you to keep gen pressure whilst chasing at the same time. it helps a fuck ton and allows you to commit to chases you wouldn’t usually be able to commit to, allowing you to get crucial hooks in the early game. once it gets cleansed then there’s pop. pop works amazingly with pressure and kinda relies on it. you won’t have pressure at the start of the game but mid-late game you should have loads. pop and ruin is truly an underrated combo

Ruin and Pop: Not good, in my humble opinion. Ruin's weakness is that it can be cleansed early on. Let's say on average it lasts half a match. That means you're working with only 3 perks for the second half of the match. Combine it with Pop, and Pop will pick up where Ruin leaves off. But since you can't use it until if/when Ruin is cleansed, you're actually going the WHOLE match with only 3 perks.

My friend's go to all-killer build is BBQ, surveillance, Ruin and Pop and he swears by it. Half tracking half regression works well for him. Anyway you told me to comment so there's that.

When the survivor went inside you, she used the window tech, when the killer goes past windows, there is a specific second where you can go through him and the killer cant see the survivor, though he messed it up by a bit, so you saw him

Tofu asked me to leave my toughts; So, for me Ruin is Strong, but it will be broken, and only after that you will use "Pop Goes the Weasel", so i think is better just use "Pop" and take off Ruin. I just don't like to use Hex perks

To answer the ruin & pop question, I think Hex:Undying (when it releases) would be a WAY better option over pop to pair with ruin when it works. And I think Dragon’s Grip would be a better option for Pop instead of ruin. Although these could be changed since they’re ptb.

Actually this is a build where I think Corrupt wouldn't work as well because them not being able to do half the gens for the first couple of minutes would interfere with your ability to find them using that add-on. Instead of Ruin maybe - Blood Echo: With Legion they'll be injured most of the time and with Blood Echo they'll also often be Exhausted when you chase them. - Trail of Torment: Since you're going to be kicking gens with Pop, Trail of Torment can give you 16 seconds of Undetectability immediately afterward. Then you flick on Frenzy and rush Undetectable to where they're working on one and get the drop on them. - Save the Best for Last: This is an unusual choice, but since you're using your Frenzy a little more for tracking gens and long distance running, you could try a strategy where you mainly do basic attacks on the non-Obsessions to build up tokens and when you see your Obsession do a Deep Wound to stall them since Feral Frenzy attacks don't lose tokens. And since you're doing Deep Wound on the Obsession it will immediately give you tracking information on the other survivors to go down them instead.

Part 2's of the ultras would be neat. Content is content; ad revenue is ad revenue. Plus, larger sample size means a more legitimate sample.

IMO ruin and pop is better than corrupt pop. Especially with tinkerer it's really good. You can regress the tinkerer gen with ruin, and if you get consistent downs, you'll have pop up for tinkerer. On some killers at least.

Part 2 of this please! I have been waiting for this add on. I have used it a few times and it is pretty useful. I consider it as good as say Discordance. And survivors can't counter it or even know for sure that you are running it.

Part 2 featuring different perk builds might be cool to show that the add-ons aren’t necessarily tied to a certain build.

Just a tip I learned from Otz's add on tier list based on Tofu saying the yellow cooldown addon was best for regaining power. Add ons that increase feral frenzy duration also reduce cooldown (not as much however). Spirits power duration add ons do the same and are arguably her best.

The other day I accidentally ran Pop and Ruin at the same time on Hag, but the survivors ended up destroying my Ruin (and not my Devour Soap thank GOD) so seeing someone like ohtofu run it makes me feel better lmao

I do the Ruin and Pop Build too. I also run Surveillance with it and I think it works really well. If ur Ruin never gets cleaned than that's good, but if it does you will still have another perk to worth with.

I don't think Ruin + Pop is a bad combo at all. You can get the benefits of Ruin for as long as its active and still mantain gen pressure with pop if it gets cleansed. It's a solid plan B combo that allows you to apply pressure the whole game. Also it has the added benefit that survivors don't expect Ruin users to also run Pop, which can catch them off guard sometimes.

Its a OK add on. The issue is "after hitting with frenzy, the effect stops". You dont use Frenzy to look for gens, you use against survivors. If you want the same effect, use hex ruin/survaillance and its more useful

I actually just used that perk yesterday. I noticed its a good perk if you have pop. Every time i hooked someone i would use feral and see which gen was closer to being done then Id just run to it and pop it lol I also only use Pop. I feel like survivors find ruin so quickly then it just ends up being a wasted perk slot for something better.

You should definitely do a part 2 on these videos, but you should outsource your build ideas on Twitter or whatever your chosen social media platform is. And if you can't make an add-on good with a community build or your own, it's hot garbagio.

I think in the 2.0 version of the build I think another chasing perk would be better than Corrupt (like Spirit Fury to pair with the Agitation). Corrupt is less good on Legion since you want the survivors to group up early before they know who they’re up against

My comment for ruin & pop. That the fact that so many killers feel the need to have both says a lot about the state of gen speeds. My solution is that we change what is demonized as far as killer actions. Slugging is a must. But yet people act like you're killing their grandma with a rusty spoon when killers do it.

Fuming Mixtape is definitely pretty good! I still prefer duration and cooldown addons on Legion, but FM gives you a lot of info in the early game, so you can drop stuff like Thrilling for something with more killing power or slowdown like Blood Echo, Thana or Infectious.

I’ve seen so many killers get screwed over, because they run over to a gen that’s 99 and they have pop, but they have ruin as well so they can’t kick it and the survivor just finishes it anyway
