I love my HiCozy nugget ice maker and I am very impressed how fast it makes ice!! We will never run out during the summer months! I see Russ is thirsty too!!! haha

We are really enjoying it too Jeff. Terynia loves nugget ice. I'm really impressed with how fast it can fill that ice bin. Oh yeah, got to test the ice out with an adult beverage haha

We have the large sonic ice maker and love it! We have it all hooked up and under counter. We had one like that when we went camping. Take care Rus and your Brother back there! lol

I like having a Rum-A-Dum (Rum & Coke ) for now. I like Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, and Woodford Reserve. By the way there is a series of videos by Matthew McConaughey as spokesman for Wild Turkey with Jimmy Russel master distiller. Cheers.

Thanks, I appreciate it! The Vevor ice machine is at Derek's place. He goes fishing a lot and can fill ice chest from that machine. It's a workhorse for sure!

I am so happy with this one! We had another brand and it broke in 1 1/2 years! This is a much better unit! And the other one was much more expensive!

Which other ice maker did you have? Does this make similar ice as that one? Sonic-type ice or different?

@@tw8098 we did have another brand and it made Sonic type ice also. I don’t want to name it because of lawsuits and the such. The first one started coming apart. It was having pieces of metal breaking off into the ice.

My ice gets low and doesn’t make automatically, is that normal or should it make continuously?

You have to press the button one time every time you want it to make ice. We usually press it in the morning to make ice for the day.

Did you have to let it sit for 24 hours before you used it? To let the coolant settle?

It came to me right side up. If one is on its side or upside down when you get it, then let it sit in its upright position. Allow time for the oil to run back into the compressor. True with any appliances that have compressors

Did you can please tell me once the machine has made ice nuggets, I leave as it is? Or I had to push the buttons to keep my eyes on it. What you doing next after the basket is full of ice? I am sorry I just little confuse 🤷🏻‍♀️

It will quit making ice once full. You will have to press the button one time when you want it to make more ice

No leave the power on. When it’s full the lights around the button will be white. Once you need more ice, just hit the button and the lights will be multicolored

Yeah, my wife loves this thing! A drink is about the only time I use ice, and that sure is a great convenience having this. Cheers!

How do you clean this? I'd imagine with water sitting there and recycling itself from the melted ice you'd need to clean this out at times

Yeah it needs cleaning every month or so. We use ice machine cleaner from Lowes

@jaygee8039 Empty the water with the drain hose, then fill with cleaner to the max fill line then set the machine to clean. It does the rest

As I said in the video, the ice slowly melts but the water just drips back into the reservoir ready to make more ice

Yeah I had similar issues with mine after this video was released. They sent me another one and so far it’s working good. Been around 6 months since I got the replacement
