Bought a nice heavy high end old Sony Bravia KDL-40X2000 40 inch 1080p HD LCD Television with freeview from facebook the TV has no problems.
This TV has tongs of settings in the menu the speakers are great to.
TV dies after doing this video it just turned off and never came back on.

I got this same tv from the big screen store for nearly $2000 back in 2005? 2006? It still works and the quality they put into this thing is amazing compared to a lot of other newer TV's

Oh nice I think this one died but I have a Sony w2000 40 inch which is all good. Was a free o e I got the other week just needed a remote. Cheap to get on ebay.

I have KDL-40V3000 which I bought in late 2008 or early 2009 (I'm not sure), but since then it works without any issues to this day. It's still a quite good TV, in has inputs that are obsolete today (s-video, 2x scarts, component, VGA), 10-bit panel, good upscaling.

@@youtubbeisshit Of course, why can’t I? It doesn’t have modern features such as VRR, HDR, but that doesn’t bother me. I’m using it for HD consoles (PS3-PS5, Wii U, Switch, and X360). For SD consoles I’m using B&O MX7000 CRT TV.

this is the first 1080p lcd tv from sony to support 1080p , if you still have early blu-ray movies from 2006-2007 in some movies inside the box you will see picture of this tv with written " NO.1 TV in the US the color in this tv still amazing and better than many $800 TVs , i have two of them "46inch" one bought NEW in 2007 for about $4500 , the other one used in 2021 for about $145 the speaker is better than most TVs in these days , not just better its a lot better even than my LG oled C1 , my son still using this high-end LCD for gaming pc and watching movies /KZfaq,,,etc

I remember this TV! That TV lasted a good 13 years with my family. It broke because the screen went black and nothing came up. I had it since 2005.

What is the model number for black remote please? I have the silver remote (RM ED006) that came with the TV ... but it is about to wear out and i need to find a replacement remote!

how do u keep brightness up keeps going to tint dark now and than after i change the setting with no remote is there a way to reset it to deafut colour? mine a sony it looks like urs but mine black on outside and silver at bottom

You can use a sky HD remote and put in a code.

Hi, I recently bought this TV and I have a problem in the upper left corner there is an icon with the word AV5 you know if it can be turned off somehow?

Try pressing the info i button or ok the middle button hope it gets this off on remote

Hi yes it's an lcd oh that is not good. Only think to do is skip the tv someone may want for scrap parts. Hope you find another like it.
