High pull-ups can be learned by everyone. Weighted pull-ups are the best use of your effort. Increased force production is the benefit we gain. Low reps, heavy weights is the optimal way to become more powerful. Fast pull-ups improve the other side of the power equation. Bodyweight pulls done quickly improve our velocity aka speed. Keep reps low so you can pull-up explosively with quality technique. Aim to progress in range of motion as you improve with practice.

Most of the big big bodybuilders you see online are on steroids. Thus appearing so big and bulky. But yes I can understand why you would lean more towards a calisthenics build. I'm going to slowly transition away from powerlifting and move more into cardio/calisthenics. I'm just so tired of being encumbered by my body, even if i'm strong.
