A high speed and slightly more stable onewheel, except the stance looks too far apart to do any real carving. I got away from the one wheel because my back and knee started hurting from always being turned like that. EUC much better.

Is there a way to mod this so you can stand on it with your feet facing forward? The only part of this I do not like is I feel like the knees take a lot of punishment and if you do get in an accident and cannot jump "out" of the foot area before you crash, it would not be good. If you could ride this same thing in more of "ski" boot fashion, where if you did crash you would face forward and easily jump off, etc. Outside of that it almost seems like a portable car.

Looks a good bit of kit Adam , wish they were around 30 years ago. Think there Will be a few broken ankles though, certainly for beginners who haven't had a one wheel 👍

They’ve been around longer than most stuff. I remember seeing a gas powered one on ripleys believe it or not in the late 90s early 2000s. Not quiet 30yrs but maybe 20

@@ENDVash I am the guy who put gas scooter on ripleys, and imported to US, so many knockoffs killed original, I even have old electrics from more than a decade ago, they still miss alot of minor details as it was Engineered? in china

Why you say that, anyone can learn an EUC, you just have to have the will and the guts. The greatest thing I've ever owned and I'm 62.

dualtron site says sold out but specs are better than I would have thought 31.5 AH 60 volt with 2700watt motor. The thing weighs 70lb. There are three selectable models MX(1,065Wh), EX(1,540Wh), EX+(1,864Wh) Battery size and cost is approx €2600

I can see this thing having uneven tire wear, it's mostly banked to the right. Even when the rider is not turning, it's slanted to the right.

Well that's an awesome bit of kit to be sure. We have a bit of a problem here in the UK, and abroad as well I think. The Police have taken to confiscating (stealing) scooters from people out on the road. They only appear to be targeting some parts of the Country. The numbers of scooters being sold has raised their profile. The additional problem is that the Police don't really identify the difference between scooters and EUC's. Given the value of these machines this represents a considerable threat to riders, to the hobby and to our liberties. I urge anyone riding anywhere, to be responsible, be discrete, ride safe.

Yep, I’m in London and there’s no way I’d be getting one until they’re made legal, coz I couldn’t afford the financial hit or the 6 points on my drivers licence if they prosecute. It’s a shame cause I love these things and I’ve been obsessed with the S18 and that obsession has passed onto the S20 (fickle ain’t I? 😂)

What's next a child's roller skates, skate boards, one wheels, maybe they just hate PEV's altogether - there are threats to property and liberty out there, the main one should not be the Police Force.

@The Chumps haha, exactly what I thought. Have been riding my eBoard here in Germany. Police literally blackmailed me into paying 300 € in a weeks notice or they will take it to court. First time offence, riding on an empty bikepath at 20-25 km/h. Living on the limit, like a real criminal... should have let them eat dirt and just ride off into the park. Next electric vehicle will have tons of torque for speedy escapes! The System can s*** my d***.

@@privileguan9127 20-25kph!!! Hangings too good for maniacs like you. What was the crime that they accused you of? Over here it’s because it’s classed as a motor vehicle and because it’s not insurable (yet) they can hit you with driving without insurance which is potentially 6 points on your licence, a big fine, extra costs to insure your car for multiple years, that’s if you can get insurance and the confiscation of the vehicle. All in all it’s way to risky for me to get involved with.

It’s closer to a eskate than a one wheel. Just with additional carving abilities and low speed maneuverability. It’s quick and more smooth. One wheel ride le really different than that. I like the dualtron more in that regard

I'm trying to decide between EUC, high end scooter and this new one in the video. So many to choose from. I love the design and wheels of this minus corded controller but not a big deal. So many to choose from. I'm more of an EUC person because if someone tried to take off with my unit they'd wipe out first lol.

I think it needs something in your feet to help you lean back without falling so that it straighten the scooter at higher speeds , because you seem to be tilting to the right at higher speeds

Awesome ride and thanks for sharing. Couple questions.. (A) did you feel "wanting" for more power than the man delivers? (B) am i right in assuming it is a single motor only in the rear and that the front wheel is freewheel only? (C) has Kate had a go and what does she think ?

Hello! (A) not really for now. I feel the tire/valve situation needs to be improved for better stability at speed. It has plenty acceleration for what it is. (B) yes. (C) she hasn’t tried it yet. Cheers!

Nice that Dualtron can come up with something like that but it is way too ridiculous looking for 99% of consumers. Also the right side of those tires will be wearing so much faster than the other side.

The problem is they've been sold out in the USA, and I want it because it's incredibly practical and space-saving at that price point. I think more people would buy it if they kept up with demand.

One wheel is better. I have both of these, only thing beats my XR is my veteran sherman and my s20 eagle....I paid 2 grand over msrp to get my eagle before anyone else. 😁 what can I say suspension and speed is a bank breaker.

It does not wobble however the vent located inside the tire makes it bounce quite a lot. I’d say optimum speed comfort is up to 40 km/h

It isn't actually new, he's been trying to get his hands on one for years (they are rare and expensive). Gas powered versions have been around for decades.

Fun ride , but I think long distance ride will be painful for your hips, since you have to open the leg wide and stretch to balance , and stop at traffic light needs getting use to .

Hips are not an issue. More the shins as it hits you hard at times. I need to improve the foam and check the comfort on the range test which will be around 80 km
