Very vividly the US players were much more determined than Czechs, glad we made it to the quarters but other than that, there isn't much to pick up on. Americans played well, congrats to them!

That first goal... wow. I hoped neighbours could have a chance against USA, if it would end at least 1:0 for Czech Republic. But USA was really good at group plays. (So were Swiss 😅)

Dam.. Game was hard to watch, there was couple times where Usa should have got penaltys but referees was eyes closed again... I wish all good for you Zcech, you are 1 of the best hockey countrys outta there and i allways root for you to come back on the top. GGs from Finland

how is czechia one of the best? they never win gold and often loses in qf. they only have like 4-5 good forwards in NHL, their d is terrible

@@ariarion137 historically Czechia is one of the best. They have multiple gold medals. Yes last if from 2010. I’m not saying we are the best at the moment and this year was horrible but we didn’t have the best players here to be honest and a lot of them got injured. Last year we won bronze and we’re always in quarterfinals. Being between top 8 in ice hockey every year. I would say we are one of the best in the world then ;)

Sadly, Czechs stopped producing great players, great goalies. Even if their U20 team played amazingly good in WC, almost sure that they will stop developing in the middle somewhere, without forming a great team, which will win several World championship

Парадокс, но творческими наследниками прогрессивного (комбинационного, скоростного) советского хоккея - стали североамериканцы - США и Канада. Сохранили лучшее, что у них было, но взяли и добавли то, что было лучшим у их совперников. Они - были законодателями, ими и остались. Сборная России, российский хоккей, при всем уважении к индивидульному мастерству отдельных игроков - извините - деградация.

с чего такие выводы? США ни Олимпиаду, ни ЧМ не выигрывали лет 50, на последнем Кубке мира с лучшими составами всех команд, вообще провалились

ваши США давно выигрывали ЧМ, ОИ? ДА ХОТЬ БЕЗ НХЛ, как в 2018 и 2022? Как сыграли на КМ в 2016 году? Вдули даже ЕВРОПЕ! Последнее место в группе, итоговое 7 место (хуже только финны), НА ТУРНИРЕ СО ВСЕМИ ЛУЧШИМИ... У России золото и серебро с двух ОИ, бронза ЧМ, и формальная бронза КМ в 2016 две бронзы ЧМ в 2016 и 2017, ГДЕ ТУТ ДЕГРАДАЦИЯ?! Даже просто тупо глядя на результаты...

When was the last time Russia won when EVERYONE had their best players? I'll make it easy on you, it was 1981. 42 years ago and counting… Btw, there have been 13 tournaments with "best on best". Canada has won 9 times, Czech 1, USA 1, Sweden 1, and Soviet Union 1.

we definitely didnt play like one, but not really surprising considering our best players were injured, including a top 2 goalscorer in the nhl ;)

Well, we played crap. Yeah, the refs were also bad, but even so our form wasn't very good - it's a shame, but it is what it is, better luck next year! And hey, we got further than the Slovaks, and that's what's most important, lol (it's a local derby due our mutual history during the 20th century, for those unaware, it's mostly in good spirits, from us Czechs anyway).

@@Asmahdan yea, sadly so the quality of the games arent high (if you compare it to what it could be) but its nice to see that because of this the smaller hockey countrys have some succes what wouldnt happen actually when the big players would be here

@@patrickschannelpokemonswee3803 Agreed. Looking at most of the rosters of the "Big Six" (Minus Russia of course), There are not any top heavy rosters. Yes, Canada's roster is made up of NHL players, but most of them are past their Prime, or just out of Junior. It is VERY nice to see Latvia staking a Claim on Top 10 Territory, Germany firmly establishing they are Top 8 and Switzerland the last couple of years are Battling Czechia for Top Six. Countries like Denmark, Kazakhstan, France and Norway gaining more and more confidence every year and even though Hungary is going down a division, doing well for themselves this year (two games into overtime, 1 win, 1 loss). Slovakia seriously needs to improve or they are going to be surpasses and in danger of barely holding on to Top 10 ranking. Cannot coast any longer and still be in the top 8

Тут всё правильно. Они свой клуб убрали из КХЛ. Развития нет как и СССР который вкладывал в спорт В Чехии.. Продержались на То что заложил СССР.. А теперь средняя команда которую Дручит уже как 4года Швейцария. А Они сносят памятники СССР
