@High Peak Autos I knew when you were driving to it in the Merc you were keeping it to fix . I said to my missus he's going to do it up.. you can't help yourself when it comes to Range Rovers😂😂😂. I have to agree though despite all the faults there's nothing else like them on the road. That exhaust though 😂. I love this channel.. keep fixing the Range Rovers I might buy one, one day 👍

@@JavierCR25 It happens slowly. One item at a time. Then when there's an 'intervention' and somebody comes along and tries to put everything right in one session it is a mammoth job. I've just done this with an Audi A6. A lot of the problems were fixed with a £60 valet as underneath the (literally) mould there was an alright car.

My mechanic had one of these and is now leasing out a new Land Rover for less money than it costs to fuel one of these. Essentially he said the Land Rover is “free”. Still the 0-60mph is impressive considering the size.

Thanks for another awesome video. On the used car market there are loads of cheap, highly depreciated luxury cars that are so tempting to buy but no one knows (like me) what to expect. Thankfully your taking risks of buying old Bentleys, range rovers etc, while your there without breaking a sweat… I wish I had the knowledge you do😅

Great video, love that era of Range Rover, especially the Supercharged. Could you please, one day, try to review (or buy) a Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST from the same era, 2006-2008? Those were seriously cool looking, loved the aggressive bodykit that they came with from factory. Keep up the good work 👍

It's not cheap stuff, and it's no guarantee you'll see a return. I've just sunk two and a half grand (at least) into suspension and steering repairs on a TD6 only for the turbo to pack up shortly afterwards. Genuinely don't know whether to persevere given that the cost is already sunk or cut my losses, and I do love the car even if it is a pain in the bum to keep running.

Great video Matt, it just reminded me, I went to have look around our JaguarRange Rover main dealer in York. There was a brand new Range Rover Autobiography in the showroom £197000, I couldn’t believe the price but what a car, absolutely brilliant !! They have certainly moved on.Anyway I agree with you about doing the car up. I love them as much as you although we have an F Pace and XK8.

Enjoyed that. The air suspension test made me chuckle, its failure to inflate mirroring your deflation on your new purchase. A little aside, in your pondering at the end you kept touching your mouth after touching that steering wheel & it was triggering me. Happy cold sores & good luck.

Ooh eck, lad... You've got right job on yer hands there... I'm gobsmacked at the serious rust on it, Matt - is that typical on a Range Rover that age? My old BMW of same age has nothing like that.... First things first, great find for so cheap. My list in order would be: 1.) Clean out interior. I'm talking remove all junk, vacuum, shampoo, wipe down, clean it all deep and well. Throw away the black ice Little Tree for the love of all that is holy. 2.) Give exterior a good hose down, see if any leaks are present(doubtful but never know). 3.) Pass MOT. I'm not too familiar with it, but I'm assuming it must meet emissions, tires, lights, fluids, filters, wipers, horn etc. Getting it to pass MOT alone will get you a trust worthy vehicle and knock out anything else on this list as far as drivability. 4.) Repair rust areas. 5.) Convert back to good old gasoline( petrol ;) ) As far as wheels, it has 1 original, the right rear. Keep them, put new rubber on. Sell the others and put proceeds towards laundry list. Goodluck, stay patient, L322 is a great car. They just need a lot of love! But not as much as some others.

Love it, chuckling to my self as you were going through your shopping list. No mention of all those suspension parts and corrosion work. This is going to cost thousands Matt. It’ll be good viewing though.
