We do have an option for door bungies that will hold them open during windy weather. We can even put them on all the doors!

We are looking into more and more vendors who offer all different types of accessories. I will add this one to our list to investigate and see what we may be able to offer in future. We have big plans for kayakers in the near future, but aren't ready to talk about all the details just yet. 😉

We can daisy chain the flex panels together to get to 200 watts for mounted panels, but most folks get a combo of mounted and portable panels usually around 180 watts.

We would love to, but being a small shop, we are unable to tackle that initiative ourselves. If we find the right import partner, it is something we would love to explore further

This is an option that we DO have! We work with Goal Zero closely with their Power Station products, but we can wire a 12V male carport plug so you can drop in any unit with that output type: Goal Zero, EcoFlow, Bluetti, Jackery, etc. We can even wire the trailer with both an onboard battery and a Power Station so you can have all the power! :)

I asked this same very question on the Hiker Trailer sub-reddit and got a few replies. Its awesome that Hiker replied to your comment so fast and that they do offer this electrical option. Also wanna say that Hiker Trailer recently updated their online build-configurator and has added the "12V Power Station Connection/12V Male Carport Pigtail For connection a Goal Zero or similar style power station" option to choose from.

We use 3/4" plywood for the box construction. Any part of the trailer we make (box, frame, etc) comes with a 1 year limited warranty. Accessories come with their specific manufacturers warranty (about 1 year on most). We use flashing tape, rubberized paint, and 100% silicone to secure our seams in various places. Our roofs are insulated during construction. Most folks will use some sort of insulation / moisture barrier below the mattress they put in to assist in insulation, but being small and made of wood, a small heater is more than enough to keep warm during the winter months!

Thanks for the feedback Chris. While I did not feel this way while walking Cosmo through the facility, I understand how some from a more traditional teardrop or RV experience might not always understand our trailers and the innovation we try to provide to the market. This is something we experience with a lot of first-timers at our Hiker facilities who might not have done as much research into our products. I will gladly show off our facility to anyone who would like to get a tour because we are proud of our unique trailers and believe they are the most affordable, best quality, and definitely most customizable teardrop on the market. I enjoyed Cosmo's time with us and the lengthy conversations we had about all the things that make us different to the other guys out there.
