In this video, I continue my Scottish hiking adventure on the Isle of Arran with a 15 mile walk to Beinn Nuis and Beinn Tarsuinn. A challenging but highly recommended walk if you are in Arran

Love that you could look back down on where you were staying, always nice to feel like King of the castle! The view down the valley behind Simon was pretty epic, what a place huh! 👌 ⛰👍❤ So nice to have it so calm too, bet its a different world on a wet, windy or even Snowy day! Hard walking when everything is so beautiful, many a tactical breather along the way 🤗 Fab video as always, thanks for talking us along with you, how much Chinese food would it talk to get Lilly up there? Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ 👍 🧭 🗺🧭

Hi Ceri and Kat. Thanks very much for watching. I was so lucky with the weather and as you say, I’d imagine it would be a completely different beast in harsh conditions. I think even a lifetime of free Chinese food wouldn’t tempt Lily up there. She take one look and then go back to bed 😆

Thanks Nigel. We didn’t see a single other person in the mountains that day. Can’t believe how lucky we were with the weather too. The weather has been crap ever since we got back!

another great wee walk Anthony! the weather was certainly on your side for this walk! what a beautiful wee island Arran is and you showcased it beautifully. these are great hills and normally very quiet compared to the mainland! cheers Paul

Thanks Paul. It sure is a stunning island. We didn’t see a soul on this walk. As great as it is that the mountains are accessible to all, I must admit that having to myself is my kind of walking. I’m hoping to get back in the Autumn once the wee biting beasties have been and gone

It's like another world up there 🌎 You seemed to have the place to yourselves too. I wouldn't have fancied that rocky descent though. Loch Lomond sounds great. It's a couple of miles longer than loch Ness. That should keep you busy for a while. Thanks for including us all on your travels, cheers.

Thanks Kelly. We didn’t see a single soul all day in those mountains. Perfect! I’d definitely like to explore more of Scotland. Hoping to get back later in the year, once the biting insects have been and gone! Thanks as always for watching 🙂

Thanks Tony. The Scotland trip was fantastic. Really enjoyed Arran, helped by the fab weather. I definitely want to go back again soon. I’m considering following in your footsteps and walking the WHW in September if I can fit it around my other commitments this year. Thanks for watching. Hope you’re well mate 🙂

What a superb landscape, beautifully illustrated in your film Anthony. Yes, there is nowhere quite like Scotland. I just wish it was a bit nearer! I know what you mean about the sea-level thing too.....it makes a big difference.

Thanks Chris. Its a filmmaker and photographers dream up there isn’t it? It’s just a shame I’m very much an amateur at both 😆. Like you, I wished I lived closer as I’d love more opportunity to walk there. Same could be said about the Lakes too.

That was a spectacular walk Anthony, amazing views even if it was hazy up there. Glad you made it back down before it got dark! 😆 Looks like you had the place to yourselves which is always a bonus. Back to Scotland again then for you in the near future 👍

Hi Patrick. It was a great week up there. Timed it so well with the weather for a change. We didn’t see a single person all day on this walk. It was great to have those mountains to ourselves. Certainly makes talking to camera a lot easier too 😆

You’re very welcome Robin. I didn’t see the plane crash site unfortunately. I read about it after the walk. Gives me a reason to go back as I do like to pay my respects at plane crash sites. Had a great time in Scotland. Hoping to get back again around the Autumn. I’ll let the midges, ticks and other beasties do one before I visit again!

Thanks Des. I had a great time thanks and those mountains were epic. You’re spot on about the distance. 14 miles there was probably equivalent to covering about 20 in the Peaks. Care and attention needed at all times in that terrain!

Thanks for watching Steven. Completely agree that Arran is wonderful. Miniature mountains in comparison to other parts of Scotland, but equally as beautiful. Thanks for the clarification on the pronunciations. I knew i’d probably have got them wrong!
