To give you a sense of how much the Democratic Party/DNC establishment is on Hillary Clinton’s side, we have an amazing story from Counterpunch about how they funneled millions into her campaign. Somehow this is apparently legal, but it seems a lot like money laundering. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
"In August 2015, at the Democratic Party convention in Minneapolis, 33 democratic state parties made deals with the Hillary Clinton campaign and a joint fundraising entity called The Hillary Victory Fund. The deal allowed many of her core billionaire and inner circle individual donors to run the maximum amounts of money allowed through those state parties to the Hillary Victory Fund in New York and the DNC in Washington.
The idea was to increase how much one could personally donate to Hillary by taking advantage of the Supreme Court ruling 2014, McCutcheon v FEC, that knocked down a cap on aggregate limits as to how much a donor could give to a federal campaign in a year. It thus eliminated the ceiling on amounts spent by a single donor to a presidential candidate.”*

Bernie supporter here and yes, the DNC has obviously been biased toward Clinton. That said, the DNC can't spend money for either candidate right now, and their FEC reports pretty much show that they are not. Piling on this story makes us look ridiculous to people who know better. You may think it's effective even if it's misleading, but part of what I *like* about Bernie is that he generally avoids lines of criticism that are not well-founded.

What I ask myself is do the common members of the Democrat party approve these practices? I assume they are passionate believers in the very basic rules of how the Democratic process is supposed to work. +Jer Hass Trump borrowed the money for his campaign. He tried to establish a superPAC but no one was interested. He'll run on RNC money if he gets the nomination AND he will have himself reimbursed handsomely! I honestly think Trump is a DNC prop sent to shake up the RNC giving Hillary the nod. Either way, someone owes him big time.

Jer hass. he once said that he wants to lower the minimum wage. Not increasing the minimum wage wouldnt really bother me but lowering it is a different story. Also he wants to build a wall between mexico and America. While illegal immigration is without a doubt a problem in this country the wall is not the best way to solve it. Illegal immigrants come from other countries other than mexico so unless he wants to wall off the whole country his plan will. not work with the exeption of getting illegal immigrants in legally

Could Sanders start a third party and just disconnect from all this DNC nonsense? He raises all his own money, and its not like they are helping. I bet regular people who are fed up on BOTH sides would support that. I really hope there are reporters on the ground at the upcoming elections. With state parties funneling money to one candidate, no wonder the elections have been such a mess. They dont want a big turn out.
