Thank you Dr., I don’t know how you got on my feed, but I watched initially because I’m a guy. But overtime I tried some of the exercises you showed. When doing the tests, how do you know if it's your hip flexor doing the work or your quads?

Good question! One of your hip flexor muscles is also a quad muscle so if testing flexing the hip is weak, it’s a safe bet you have some weakness in both groups.

Thank you!! I was a swimmer all through college and a triathlete after. My shattered ankle and Lyme are starting to catch up to me:) I try lots of different ways to exercise and make lots of modifications! It’s one of the reasons I make the videos that I do:)

Do have a video for extremely tight hip flexor post op spinal fusion lower lumbar. Hips/piriformis so tight I can barely walk.

I do not have a specific video for post fusion. I often include soft tissue work on my patients in the office.
