I’ve been doing some of these for six or so years trying to strengthen my back and core because of severe sciatica pain. In particular, kicking that one knee out to the side while on stomach and doing a press up completely helping me put on my socks and tie my shoes again. Highly recommended daily exercise.

Squats...squats....Squats. Best thing is you can do weightless squats. But I found out that putting your heels on a board and raising your heels a little higher will help you keep better form and get a deeper squat without the feeling of falling over.

@@drkristieennis Hey Dr Kirstie - do you have a vid for strengthening muscles after hip surgery please? Down gym earlier & attempted some deadlifts - 60lb’s + bar….. It was halfway through first one suddenly realised my operated side’s rear muscles were saying “whatever game you are playing we are NOT taking part!”’I fell backwards slowly in stages eventually grabbing a bench & stuck at 45 degrees laughing helplessly!! 😂 However would rather avoid this scenario again so if you could assist as clearly the hospital exercises are solely for non-weightlifter’s! 😊
