Hiroba looks like it could overtake my favourite current Sudoku-themed game "Sudoku, Duell Der Meister" by Dr. Knizia.

This is really a creative and fresh concept in board games inspired from Sudoku Puzzle mixed with Area Majority - Very creative and engaging. This is surely going to be included in my collection shortly.

Very unusual game. Reminds me a little of Caesar but less thematic (although to be fair the theme in that game is pretty thin) I’m not sure about the ‘you are in a garden’ theme. The game is so abstract that no theme is really necessary. I think it would appeal to those who enjoy spending time puzzling over numbers. Doesn’t look like it’s too much fun to play, but maybe if I actually played it I would change my mind. I’m glad games like this exist even though I personally probably won’t buy it.
