4 ай бұрынWhānau impacted by race based separatism in Pukekohe to receive apology, says Franklin Local Board member Logan Soole, after Phyllis Bhana highlighted the issue. Māori were educated in separate native schools, treated badly as workers in market gardens, poorly housed then buried in unmarked graves. Pastor Charlie Tuha, Ngā Hau e Whā marae, is looking for recon ciliation and healing.

I'm a mixed Indigenous person here in Australia and sadly the same happened here too, our people were just buried in the back of the cemeteries and that also includes the South Sea Islanders who were bought here during the blackbirding days 😢
