The color on old pilot is just way better than new one. Even after paying paying nearly 3500 for these watches HMT should not degrade the qaulity

Built quality of both watches are really good and same. Only difference you would find is the bezel which is rounded on vintage pilots and new pilots it’s flat. What sets these watches far apart is the dial. Vintage green 1st edition with tear drop hand applied lume those are one of kind and it’s highly sort after collectors watch. And the lume perfection of Prashant’s vintage green pilot it’s just too good.

The leather strap version isn't available. I think I'll buy a green and a black pilot ss bracelet and swap it with a leather strap. The Jubilee too is available but I already bought one a few months back. The blue pilot looks like it's great but I don't think a blue watch will be good for me as I mostly dress casually and the blue one will probably look good on a formal dress. I really wanted a grey dial pilot but it isn't available.
