Ho 2 10 10 2 build from rivarossi 0 8 0 and other rivarossis first test run

This thing is made from all rivarossi parts 2 full 0 8 0 loco and one older 0 8 0 that had the motor in the tender. I cut the real old one up and used part of the frame and one set of drivers and added them to each 0 8 0 chassis . The shell is a challenger bottle. The top is made from part of the 0 8 0 shell and part of a 4 6 4. With a piece of plastic pipe. The trailing truck and the leading truck are from two 2 8 4 berkshires. The motors are 5 pole 10000 rpm at 12v .

Please do not Blind any drivers! just plan a route on your layout with flex track with very broad turns

Unfortunately I can't do that I have not the space it's in an attic of a old old house I rent. I hate blind drivers but I have some 18 inch radius turn outs so I only did that to be able to run on those. 16 locomotives I built I only needed blind drivers on 2 of them now this one only has one set of blind drivers and they are almost hidden behind the valve gear. Blind drivers suck but it is what it is I have extra sets of drivers so I can change them later on.

Any idea how heavy that locomotive is? I bet that would easily pull 70 cars!

It's really heavy have not checked the weight but the chassis are from old rivarossi 0 8 0. My tri plex I built can pull 60 cars easily and this has the same stuff.
