I did a lake at the Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland. I used plexiglass painting it blue on the underside. Then I put a speed boat 🚤 pulling a water skier ⛷️. I use a steel boat model. And under the lake a bicycle chain holding a magnet 🧲 running through a set of sprocket ⚙️. I had a lot of fun with the build. 😊

Nice, you're making a lake in the middle. Thanks for the video of the Holiday HO train set! I love the Santa Claus and his sleigh that they had. That is a great set-up. The skaters and boat ideas sound fun for the seasons. That foggy scene on your track looked nice. Have a Happy New Year Ken!

Like the track layout on this one for two trains. Love the greenhouse , water tower and bridge although I think an old chenowith covered bridge would be nicer on yours being in Vermont and all. Thanks for the field trip ..Happy New Year.🎉

Happy new year Ken & Lauren! I liked the local town railway show although for me I prefer the trains to run a little slower for realism. (I think your locos are running at just perfect speed) idea: Ken if you make a little jetty on the edge of the lake nearest you it will actually be handle to lift it….

if that the first time you visited, you need to see if there is a model railroad club in your area, i went to ne near me, it was at a members house and all the members had free rain, but they got together to decide what would be what and it took up a 3 car garage. Each member did his specialty there and all ran the trains and there were at least 6 different layouts all in one build. WOW
