Man this season has been so unpredictable. I am getting cooked in tipping lately. Hynes cementing himself as the most unclutch player I've seen in the NRL thus far 😂. Realizing my camera was a tad out of focus in this vid, my bad.

The "stadium" is Leichardt Oval the Tigers home ground. It has alot of history and only recently just got a redevelopment announced before this game. It was going to be retired as an NRL ground before that. We call them "suburban grounds" which basically just means what you said the local footy park. These grounds almost always consist mostly of grass hills and a few seating stands.

Tigers have played two games at leichhardt oval this year and have won both of them. Tigers have two home grounds so they’ve been playing at the other one 🤮. leichhardt oval was under massive threat of getting shut down for being old and small but the NSW government approved the $40million to improve the ground and keep it in the nrl. It’s known as the 8th wonder of the world for a reason! 🐅

Sua Faalogo is Victorian where Melbourne storm are from …in the storms 25 year history they have only had 5 Victorian players so Sua is special Storm literally had no ball for 17 minutes playing terrible then they woke up … I don’t know how Storm are on the top but they are so very proud as a member of

Fun fact the warriors losing against the storm is the longest running streak that is still happening by double (15 or 16 games now?) The record longest team losing streak is like not many more games than that aha 😅 the hoodoo has to break sometime aha

Eels can be so good in attack. Their squad is getting older and stale. They need a new coach and a couple signings that can breath some life into the squad. Moses just got picked for NSW. When they’re on they’re so good to watch. But they’re losing important moments in games. Their next couple games are very winnable for them.

the cowboys recently lost their defensive coach but, they r the only team to not have their byes yet so the extra 4 points puts them in the top 4!

generally you are told to always play the ball and force the attacking the player to make the pass so the onus is on them. otherwise if you play the gap and they dummy and go through you end up looking stupid. but nowawadays players are so good at 2 on 1s that defenders have had to be creative so they sometimes pretend to play the ball runner and shoot the gap last minute to knock the ball down or force the pass early and run down the other guy.

The cowboys are a top 4 team on their day, but they have been underperforming this year. I can see them playing a lot better after origin is finished. I wouldn't rule them out of every game even though they haven't been great. Also for the Eels game when you asked what the defender should do in a 2v1, they should pick a player and hope xD

I don’t really rate them. Yeah so they made top 4 in 2022 but have been a bottom 8 or 9 finishing club every other year since 2018. They can certainly look really good on their day but have too many lazy or underperforming players, especially in defence.

@@pantherz9103 yeah i agree they havent been great, however i think they have the capacity to be great. Im not even a die hard fan or anything, but just look at their roster and you can see that they could be a premiership team. I mean they have more origin players than pretty much any other team. I dont really know exactly whats wrong with them and why theyre playing how they are but the nrl is a better sport with them playing well. Im super keen to see if they can pick up the pace

Cowboys have a pretty solid spine and edge but some of their middles and bench players really fall off tackles and don't bring alot to the team. Queenslanders also seem to perform better in origin for some reason, because the origin is such a big deal in queensland, means alot more than club games mostly. Some QLD players are known only to be good in origin no matter their club form.

From my experience you're usually always told to go for the player with the ball in a 2 on 1 situation. This is because if you go for the player they should pass to then they are straight through and it really isn't your fault if they score because it is too hard to consistently defend.

I thought you meant to go for the outside man in this case? Just because the defenders have an inside man who can tackle the lead ball runner (in this case he didn't lol)

Warriors dominated in many facets of the game, but every single mistake they made was punished by the Storm and ill discipline cost them at the end when they went 12-11 men down and the game was put out of reach. Johnson was cluncky in attack. This has been a recurring theme this season, costly errors at inopportune times and ill discipline in kye moments. These should be fixable though. bad time though a bunch of upsets means the teams the Warriors are compeitng with to get into the 8 did well.

That seems to be a running theme for them this season. All the stats I can see point to them being good yet they just make key mistakes when it matters. Frustrating.

Would you do a watch party for Origin?? Have you watched it live? Given it’s the showpiece of our game and this game II being a must win for the blues or a chance for Qld to wrap it up it’s going to be a great game to watch. 6am for you I think?

3:30am for me but I am planning on it for game 2 and then game 3 as well if it's 1-1. Going to be a rough day for me but we gotta watch it live.
