Excellent video. In 2008 I had a heart attack and in the ER they told me I had a cantaloupe sized mass in my chest - you guessed it, Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Six weeks after quadruple by-pass I started ABVD and completed my chemo in January, 2009. I identify with everything you said (except the period thing). I was just pronounced 5 years in remission, but I remember well the fog brain and the doubts, etc. I no longer have any lingering ill-effects from chemo except some neuropathy and maybe a touch of paranoia, but life is good. I hope this terrible thing is behind you forever. :-)

Hey Chelsea, I stumbled across your videos and have just spent the last hour or so watching your journey. You are an incredible person! Watching the videos was such an eye opener for me. Being so brutally honest had me totally sucked in. You have a great way of connecting with your audience, those who are suffering with this, those who know people with this and those who just need educating. My 9 year old son has got 2 pea size lumps in his neck, I only found the second one last week and although the doctor has assured me it is just enlarged lymph nodes, my gut instinct is telling me to keep a close eye and get a second opinion. I pray to God it is just what the doctor says, but should it be something more serious (and i'm not a hypochondriac, but my son is def out of sorts with tiredness and food, and these are highly unusual traits for him!) I just hope I can remain as positive as you. You trully are an inspiration and am so pleased to see you are doing well. Thank you for sharing probab;y the most difficult thing you have had to go through in life! xxxx

Hi Chelsea, thankyou for sharing your story with us. I found all your posts to be very informative and they helped me to know what experience I might have ahead of me with my ABVD for hodgkins lymphoma. iv just finished my 3rd dose of chemo yesterday and I am only having 4 doses thank god. I found the lump in my neck really early and therefor I am only stage 1. I really think that your an inspiration to me as I don't know how I would manage to have 12 OMG 12 chemo sessions. you have done so amazing. I don't know about you but I felt like I was dying post chemo. people tell me that im being brave but I think huh this is nothing compared to what other people have to go through. I feel very Blessed. Again thankyou and I pray you have a happy healthy life from now on in. Take care Emma from wales UK xx

Jemma! Thank you for such kind words. Let's cross everything and have those just stay as enlarges lymph nodes. That being said always trust you gut, it knows best. I have so enjoyed doing these videos and helping others learn from my situation. I can't believe the number of views so far and yet it makes me sad as to how many people are suffering with this. Knowledge is power and gives us the ability to question what we are going through. It sure is a scary\hard time but I have learned SO much about myself and life that I wouldn't change it for the world! Life although different and has new struggles seems easier with greater clarity. Take good care of yourselves!! Xoxo

Ok this is very very funny love your illustration of my experience with some doctors. Also it's very sad. I read many women suffer serious illness even death because doctor dismiss their symptoms as anxiety. So enlightening.

Hello Chelsea! My name is Malik and I am 19 years old. I am about to be 20 in the 11th of March. I love your videos so much. It made me feel more positive about these kinda situations. My Mom was diagnosed with Breast cancer and she died from it in 2008. It really sucks that she couldn't be here with me ever again, because now I'm doing more big things and still want to do more big things. I have a feeling that I have No Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I noticed painless swollen lymph nodes under my left cheek and in both sides of my thighs. They feel small but I can feel them. I'll admit that I am a bit afraid because cancer is not a good thing. But watching your videos made feel like this can also be a positive experience in your life. With family, friends, people supporting you. I love your energy, your personality, and your strength. I also like to know what Stage were you diagnosed with? I hope you can reply back to me. I like to have a conversation.

Thank you Chelsea. I'm so glad you're finished with chemo and now you can concentrate on getting your life back together. You look amazing and I know this is all behind you. I'm sure the chemo brain will dissipate over time - mine did - and I think you're making good decisions (radiation, doctors, etc.). I had the radiation, but at your age and especially being female I think you were very wise to decline it. I know you will cherish every day of your long, happy, healthy life. I wish you the very best.

I'm glad you're doing well. Being an RN, I am as well, did you not try other treatments like cannabis oil?? Chemo and radiation are horrible treatments for cancer. They help in some cases but cause other problems. Not judging your choice just wondered.
