If you’re playing in PS5 controller, when you wield the elder wand, the vibrations and sound on your controller is slightly different from your usual wand. It instantly feels powerful in your hand. The temptation the wand brings with itself was perfectly shown in this quest. ❤

This art style came out of nowhere and was such a treat, especially since I expected this mission to just be a repeat of the last two Keeper missions. Hell, I'd play an entire game with this art style

"You are no Dark Wizard. _You are..."_ *DEATH*

I find the story of Isidora to be a good deal more compelling than the villains you see in the Harry Potter series. Isidora's story is a classic "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions". She started out with just wanting to alleviate her father's pain and grief, and it all snowballed from there.

After the first and second trials, I was worried that they'd all be pretty much the same. This was a nice change of pace.

Gotta say, wielding the Elder Wand was an absolute treat

So they actually went with the classic Grim Reaper version of Death? I approve!

This quest was pure fan service and I loved it

Three brothers, travelling along a lonely, winding road at twilight reached a deep treacherous river where anyone who attempted to swim or wade would drown. Learned in the magical arts, the brothers conjured a bridge with their wands and proceed to cross. Halfway through the bridge, a hooded figure stood before them. The figure was the enraged spirit of Death, cheated of his due. Death cunningly pretended to congratulate them and proceeds to award them with gifts of their own choosing. The eldest brother, a combative man, asked for a wand more powerful than any in existence. Death granted his wish by fashioning the Elder Wand from a branch of a nearby elder tree standing on the banks of the river. The second brother, an arrogant man, chose to further humiliate death, and asked for the power to recall the deceased from the grave. Death granted his wish by crafting the Resurrection Stone from a stone picked from the riverbank. The third and youngest brother, who was the most humble and wise, did not trust Death and asked for something to enable him to go forth without Death being able to follow. A reluctant Death, most unwillingly, handed over his own invisibility cloak. The three brothers took their prizes and soon went on their separate ways. The eldest brother travelled to a village where a wizard whom he had quarrelled lived. He sought out a duel and fought the wizard using the wand, instantly killing the latter. Leaving his enemy dead upon the floor, the eldest brother walked to an inn not far from the duelling site and spent the night there. Taken by his conscience and lust of the Elder Wand's power, the eldest brother boasted of this wand gifted by Death and his own invincibility. That very night, a murderous wizard killed the eldest brother. The unknown murderous wizard crept to the inn as the eldest brother slept, drunk from wine. The wizard slit the oldest brother’s throat for good measure and stole the wand. That was when Death took the first brother for his own. The second brother returned to his home where he lived alone. Turning the stone thrice in his hand the figure of the girl he had once hoped to marry, before her untimely death, appeared at once before him, much to his delight. Yet she was sad and cold, separated from him as by a veil. Though she had returned to the mortal world, she did not truly belong there and suffered. Finally, the second brother, driven mad with hopeless longing, committed suicide by hanging from his house' balcony so as truly to join her. That was when Death took the second brother for his own. Death searched for the youngest brother as years passed but never succeeded. It was only when the third brother reached a great age, he took off the Cloak of Invisibility and gave it to his son. Greeting Death as an old friend, they departed this life as equals.

I think this is interesting...because it tells the story after the three brothers original story... The story of how death search for the three brothers... Killing anyone on its way The older brother just defeat every "goon" death send, the younger just used the invisibility cape to scape, and the middle brother probably just used the stone so he couldnt die...meanwhile the village was obliterated

One of the best missions in the game you can actually feel the power of the elder wand on your controller and see it on your screen not only that but you can hear how powerful it is too. If only we could have kept it decendo does 6k damage too wtf

I love how Niahm's Lullaby sounds a bit like Lily's Theme 13:41

This was such a unique mission. The visuals were unique, like a storybook come to life. Unfortunately for you, it's a Grimm fairy tale, with all the trappings. The first part with the stealth was nerve-wracking, and I breathed a sigh of relief when I got the cloak. The game then truly rewards your patience by making you a magical GOD. You can see (and feel) why one of this wand's epithets was the Deathstick. After all that, the Resurrection Stone segment was a nice breather and a chance to calm down, good way to end things. Just, great work all around, Avalanche.

Combat gameplay in Hogwarts Legacy reminds me a lot of Devil May Cry. From the combat scene cut (not cut scene), camera angle, focus sequence, attack mechanic.

That troll battle was so hard. I eventually did it. Just finished it now. Highest difficulty. Hard enough to time the counters, but when the counters doesn't always appear, and the enemy red hits you while you got knocked over, and now it's in black and white made it much harder. Was hard enough to catch the timing of the dodge and parry thing when it appears. And on top of that only 4 wiggenwield potions, and no other spells or abilities :(

THIS mission was just perfect.

Did anybody spells for this mission disappear on them after a certain point. Like Half way through the boss fight and your left up rivers without a paddle to die slowly.

Did a pure No death gameplay and ended up losing 42hrs at this point. Ran into a spinning death monster and no matter what I did, still got seen…didn’t matter…Ah well.

After 2 longass repetitive Trials, i was sure the 3rd is the same. then this quest started.. holy shit, its basically a big fanservice quest lol Wielding elder wand is such amazing experience, such a treat, it sucks you can't use it on main storyline (makes sense storywise tho, there's no way random hogwarts student would wield it). fighting death itself is fun
