@@AluminumTiki Back at the time, yes, definitely, absolutely, and Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban even managed to improve that. But sadly, that was 20 years ago and the games never received the AAA treatment this license deserved, they were amazing for being just movie adaptations. This is the first AAA of Harry Potter ever created.

@@Thanos-oq4db Good as Elden Ring TURNED OUT to be, there was quite a bit of skepticism surrounding the new direction they were taking souls games. It just happens that they nailed it and we all loved it. With this game, the hype is preexisting. There is no bad direction they could take it, because it's original. It can definitely be a let down, but my guess is the main issue will be the same with this game as with every other open world title - bugs. That can make or break the launch of a title. I would even argue it's the main reason days gone didn't get a sequel.

All skeptism for this game went out the window for me on that second gameplay showcase. Seeing the world, how vast and detailed it is, really made me excited. I simply cannot wait to explore my childhood again. Much appreciated Avalanche!!! 🐍

@@Gerlaffy yea as the previous commentator stated the cdpr devs wernt as in depth and open as Avalanche is being. It's an entirely different interaction. That being said cuberpunkn2077 is still a good game regardless of its launch. Witcher 3 launched the exact same way but folks seem to disregard thst for some reason. Just means HL is gonna be just as good.

The game is beautiful! I really hope they add a photo mode in a future update, Currently finding a spot I want to screenshot involves toggling 4 HUD's and the subtitles off and back on each time, plus the character will always be in the way in the composition.

It took me only two month! But I beat the main story and have two sun stories left over. I am a slytherin and loved this game completely! Here’s to hoping they’ll be another based on Harry’s timeline or Fantastic Beasts timeline!

I have absolutely loved this game so far. I have been grinding for the last 3 days straight. My only issues so far; you can't pause during cinematic/cut scenes. Also the first 3 hours of the 3 day pre-release, I noticed some of the audio levels in the dialogue we're slightly off. Other than that 👍🏻👍🏻

One of the most incredible games I have played in years. I'm about 20 hours in and I could not be happier. Avalanche has done an amazing job at capturing the magic and charm of the Harry Potter universe. They did not fall short on any mark. A fantastic story so far with well voiced, and intriguing characters . A stunning, and immersive world that feels alive anywhere you go. An exciting combat system that exceeds any hopes I had with fast paced intense encounters. All of this exhilarating content is iced with a sweet layer of nostalgia making sure to include many notable locations from the story as well as many famous (or infamous) wizarding families. So head down to Honeydukes or take stroll in the Dark Forest the wizarding world is yours to explore and it is a truly magical experience. P.S. Thank you to the ridiculous boycott attempt for bringing my attention to this true masterpiece of a game.

Guys…. VR Harry Potter where it hears your voice and you can say spells real time and block spells with your wand. I can’t imagine what duels would feel like. So realistic. I would never put it away.

@@182scotty182 what logan simmons is describing is potions to which herbology goes hand in hand with and yeah theres a herbology and potions quest line. Alchemy was mentioned to exist and horcruxes are technically alchemical in nature i dont think we'll ever get the alchemical class in Hogwarts legacy as in it exists but not available

I am going to enjoy this sooo much! Finally a proper Harry Potter game. I still remember as a kid begging to go to the library, to play Harry potter and the sorcerer’s stone on that old Microsoft PC, and now as an adult I can just get this and hopefully revisit some of those feelings I had as a kid! So excited!

This game's trailer basically gave me that feeling again of being inside Hogwarts - the feeling that came over me when I read the books and saw the movies as a kid. It is kinda like anticipating the all the good things about the first day of school. I usually pre-order games with proven developers that will come up with guaranteed great games (Fromsoftware, Rock Star... this lost is always shrinking)- but the hype is so real that I just had to pre-order the digital deluxe edition.

I read all the books and ofcourse watched all 8 movies once every year, and now im almost 25h into the game i can assure everyone that this game is by far hands down one of the best Video games ive ever played..in my opinion i place This masterpiece next to Zelda Breath Of the wild..good Job to everyone behind this game and thank you 👍
