Once you go Maresoc you have only have enough time to take Entrench the Revolution and one of the 3 following focuses before the civil war starts. If you take The Great Purge first, then the Civil War will not start because you get rid of all the ponies who start the civil war.

Ahh this brings fond memories of the OG take on Maresoc on your channel and is especially funny since you did the exact same mista- [REDACTED]. MARESOC was always succesfull, there is no evidence that says otherwise. Glory to Marelandia. We are and always were The Good Guys. (P.S. I suggest you come back to Brodefeld Illuminati path, if it's still around, or harmonic Changelings since these were very fun too.)

Yeah if you do the purge as soon as the focus is available in the tree, you prevent the civil war. Any thoughts on doing the Winggarden legation ( wingbardy, colthage, chiropterra alliance beat hippogriffia and jointly occupy a trade city, it has multiple routes including turning the entire North zebrican subcontinent into a libertarian ancap paradise )

@@DShakey Yeah I don't think there's any english language videos on YT covering it. When you beat Hippogriffia as the north zebrican alliance of chiropterra/colthage/wingbard (it must be all three in the war, actively) you'll be able to release the free port of Winggarden as a legation city and you'll have some fun issues balancing that - one route will basically lean towards 'fuck it, let this corporate guy run it' and the guy is basically not-john mcaffee style libertarian ancap dude with his own private security company. You'll first solidify your grasp on the city, make it strong and then expand out and take over hippogriffia's old land as a whole libertarian nation. It's *weird* but fun enough. That isn't the only route for Winggarden, there's a couple, but Libertalia is probably the one with the biggest tree(s)

@@DShakey yeah pretty much, just make sure to have all three of them in the war againts hippo and conquer the lands of zumidia, then wait for scripted peace conference of Ain Troatsomething. Personally I loved the futurist fascist path but McAffe one is absolutely based

@@DShakey The most reliable way I'd say is by playing as chiropterra, then when the NZW kicks off it has to have all three of you in a faction. IIRC when you take over all the zumidian (mainland) territory that'll cause the peace to happen, winggarden will be released under a three way legation council of wingbardy/chiropterra/colthage which you can swap to via the event. You've then got the balancing act and can go different routes, and Coffee Bean (the not-john mcaffee expy) is one of them, should be pretty obvious when allowing corporations in and his security company.

I don’t know if you did this or if it’s even still a thing, but after you do the first MARSOC focus if you do the purge focus right after you normally avoid the counter revolution. But like I said, I don’t know if that’s still a feature.

I highly recommend Hippogriffia. Think of their culture as a combination between 1930s Isolationist USA + Atlantis. Every one of their paths is super fun.
