@@TheMetroChannel yea winter war is pretty hard to say who really won while both countries achieved their own goals. Finlands goal was to remain independent while soviet goal was to get karelia. even tho the real reason behind winter war most likely was that stalin wanted to secure whole Finland under his rule. he did the same exact offers to baltics and they ended up under soviet rule. Stalin most likely wanted whole Finland but when he realized that it is going to be too expensive for him he just accepted to take just Karelia so the red army wouldn't go home with empty hands. Stalin was mostly scared that germany will invade through Finland but he only made his fear come true by winter war and taking finnish lands so finns had reason to invade with germany and try to take old lands back in 1941. ofc Stalin couldn't predict the future but Finland would have wanted to stay in peace and neutral through the whole ww2 but it wasn't possible, but what really makes me sad is that Stalin was too embarrased to reveal the real casualties of winter war so he only took 3000 dead soviets back to soviet union to bury them because they said that only 3000 died. so we finns had to bury rest of those fallen soviets to mass graves. even if they were the enemy they should have been returned back to their families to bury them. Finland was only country in ww2 who brought all own fallen back to home for burial.

Smh in hoi4 (i may be a boomer) when i think about how irl a battle would go, even with 20 divisions on one province im loosing bc americans are digged in and are meatgrinding my troops.

Да, Параходы новым ДЛС усили Скандинавию, особенно Финляндию, но они введением КБ сделали СССР имбалансным, а Финляндия для игрока как не представляла опасности, так и не представляет
