I think the confidence of Hojlund wanting to receive the ball was always there. The lack of passes to him is what made it seem so but I never had any doubts about what he could do when the team clicked. Fans who doubted him need to look at it from a wider scope as to why he wasn't scoring in the PL.

Casemiro was HUGE in the win yesterday, he was so dominant in winning aerial challenges and had so many tackles in critical moments. Licha was also insane. It really shows you how much we have missed these guys over the past couple months. Hojlund still does just a few too many backheels for my taste, but he is certainly so good at getting into dangerous positions and using his strength to his advantage. That goal yesterday was just picture perfect, make a slight adjustment and just bury it in the back of the net. Glorious stuff, GGMU

10:52 Rashford is unmarked and ahead of Hojlund when Hojlund back heels it to Bruno. By the end of the move Rashford is at the edge of the box while Hojlund has bust a gut to get away from Zuma and ahead of Garnacho for the overlap. Rashford needs to be more aware and be racing into the box at the back post to provide and option for Hojlund. Remember Rooney starting a move a against arsenal by playing the ball out wide to Nani then just putting his head down and out sprinting arsenal's entire midfield and back line to reach the box and score from the cross. Rashford needs to improve his awareness and understand that he's got to make that sprint.

Been saying all season, you either need to replace Hojlund with somebody who can do the link up play Weghorst and Martial were doing last season, replace our wingers with players who are more creative focused to get him more chances, or give Ten Hag time to coach players and fundamentally change how they play. Well, he replaced Antony with Garnacho, Rashford looks like he's being coached to pass more in the final third (although he still hasn't learned when to pass), and Hojlund looks like he's soaking up the coaching like a sponge. The easiest thing is for Hojlund to keep playing like this, being a two way striker, dropping in build up to create space and link play, and being the box striker in the final third so we have a target to hit.

Rashford and Antony are a disgrace. Garnacho makes some questionable decisions in the final 3rd but he is a kid and developing. He deserves patience because there is some serious potential in him. His decision making reminds me of Ronaldo before he clicked and became unplayable. Antony is so one footed he is almost a human meme. When I watch him it is painful and then watching him grin at his own mistakes utterly infuriates me. Rashford appears to have a very poor attitude, he is selfish and for his goal threat, which is substantial, he doesn't contribute enough as a team both defensively and offensively. There is a player in Rashford but we would be better to sell him for as much as we can to PSG. I would sell Antony for £15m and Sancho for £30m. That's £800m a week in wages. Get rid of Martial £250m a week and Varane £340m a week and we could have some FFP space to buy better players

How about the wingers actually driving to the line and I don't know "CROSS THE BALL!" Rasmus rarely receives the ball from a winger. When they do cross the ball, it's late in the game and McTominay is basically playing as a forward and making the run that the striker makes. Numerous chances McTominay has had, you can see Rasmus making a similar run and Scott is taking Rasmus' chances. Plus, when Rasmus does get that ball he makies a good pass to a winger expecting a pass back and instead the winger shoots. Rasmus just needs service, which he gets almost nothing from his teamates. Get him the ball in the box, and he will convert chances.
